Buyer Beware
What a nightmare!! Our bed was delivered in the timeframe promised. We opened the boxes and the nightmare began. Here's a quick list:Missing screwsMissing drill holesSplotchy, uneven paintCracked footboardWrong headboard/footboard combinationThe first 3 problems were aggravating but Home Depot is close by, my hubby has a drill and with careful placement of parts, the uneven paint could be hidden. Hubby even felt he could mend and hide the crack. Biggest problem was that the upper bed was sent with a tall headboard and shorter footboard. I prefer the look in the picture but thought we'd try out the uneven head/footboard. But this put the head board too close to the ceiling causing safety concerns of pinching and/or trapping of body parts. Now the real nightmare begins. All calls funnel through one number which is only occasionally answered. Once a person was reached, I was informed processing takes 2 weeks and shipping 1 to 2 after that. No matter the circumstances, customers are placed in the queue with all customers needing parts whether it's due to replacement of old parts or mistakes by the company. After 3 weeks, our 2 footboards have arrived but the end pieces were not included. No one answers the phone.Quality Control is non-existent. Websearch other reviews and you'll find 80% have quality issues. Most people settle but for those who can't, ibuprofen is in their future.I am now leery of any Storkcraft product as I feel this is a company wide quality and customer service problem.

Poor Materials. Read this review before buying.
While we liked the design of the bunk bed for our 3 and 6 year old girls, and didn't mind some of the smaller assembly issues that other reviewers have mentions, we did have a BIG DEFECT. The ledge on the side rail that holds the slats tore off approximately 20" after one week of use. Clearly this item is defective or is of poor quality. Not only is this unsatisfactory, but for a children's bedroom item it is a safety concern. I'm currently communicating with the company, Amazon and my credit card company to come to a resolution. Will update this review with the company's response. Wish I could post the pictures of the damage, but looks like only a video review can be done.

The bed looked nice, not to hard to assemble. It started falling apart (screws backing out) almost immediately. The slats broke, I replaced them. It became a wobbly nightmare. One year later, the bed is in the trash.
