BEBASIA Keyless Door Lock Smart Lock Fingerprint Door Lever(Zinc Alloy)

*I bought this biometric fingerprint door lock unfortunately some people have repeatedly breach the security and entered my department. Although I am dealing with the worst trained terrorist capable of doing extraordinary things. How did these people continue to breach and enter my Unit Honestly I don't know very sad but that is the inconvenience truth.

The first one I received wouldn't lock and amazon sent a replacement that worked flawlessly been thrilled ever since and anyone that sees it loves everything about it as I do best way to keep a room secure 24/7. However 8mo later the striker/latch is poorly made and has stripped causing me to have to climb in through the window of the room where this handle assembly was installed and remove the handle in order to open door. Buy a better quality if you plan to using this long term. worst part there is no way to block entry of all stored fingerprints if you require privacy in the room this installed on(you get what you pay for)

I am very happy with this lock, owned it for 6 months now. We have 4 different locks in our home(for pantry, study, Special needs). 2 are fingerprint and 2 are keypad. This is my favorite one because of ease of use. You just put your hand on the handle naturally and it reads your finger.The ONLY reason I don't give it 5 star is, that I know of, you can't put it on standby, where all my other locks can. For example I want it unlocked for a while. If it had this feature (maybe it does? Couldnt find it) it would definitely been 5 stars.I have had zero issues and use it 3-4 times a day and haven't charged it a 2nd time yet.UPDATE: had it a while now, came back online to buy another one, apparently it isn't available. Too bad, it works great for me. I noticed some people complaining about using this for their apartment or home. I don't think I would ever have used this for my home. It has a charge port on the outside. It works great for a room you want people to avoid. I am very happy with it.

Great concept and idea. The fact that anyone could add their thumb print from the outside makes this item absolutely useless.

I got a lemon; it worked right out of the box, but the motor quit as soon after I charged the unit for the required 30 minutes. I had to take the door off its hinges to remove it.

After 2 months they became faulty and had to remove them from doors even though they were fully charged and tried to reset

This is a great biometric lock.
