Great sounding speaker, for the size and weight it does a great job projecting sound and some really solid low end for a 10 inch. Solid build quality and seems to be holding up to use

This is a great speaker! Loud and clear! First put the dsp to frout of house and enjoy. I paired this speaker with 2 Bose Sub2's and set the low cut to 120hz and let me tell you it sounds amazing. I was using it outside in the parking lot of my car wash and you could hear it well over traffic and the noise of a 5 bay self-service car wash. Buy this speaker if you need something for a large crowd!

Purchased a pair of Yamaha DZR10's for my home theater, will purchase additional units soon. The sound quality is excellent and they are truly robust speakers. Setup was quick and easy and they have a powerful and natural sound. Mine are paired with 2 Cerwin-Vega Earthquake 18" horn loaded subs. The finish on the speakers is excellent. As I said earlier, I will be purchasing additional DZR10's!!

Function great as advertised I like it.

I have had my dzr 10 for almost a year now and here are some things to consider. Pros: -extremely powerful for a 10 inch speaker -clean sound at peak volumes -extremely durable -fairly easy interface to use -flexible eq options and channel routing -straight/angled pole mounting options -Usb port for load/save settings -XLR and 1/4 inch inputs -XLR outputs for chaining Cons: -Line signal inputs only (e.g., plugging a mic directly into the speaker will not produce high levels of output. You would need a mixer with mic signal inputs to maximize the speakers output.) -Not a bluetooth speaker -heaver than most speakers it's size due to its wooden frame (which helps carry sound better in return) -No 1/8 inch inputs (having appropriate adapters can easily solve this issue for blasting music from your phone, pc, etc.) -is roughly $1300 but serves its purpose well in terms of power, price, and size The speaker has its quirks, but if you are looking for good monitors/mains, then these little guys deliver tons of clean punch. They will not beat commercial grade speakers but that is to be expected. At the consumer level, these are some of the best speakers you can get. Needed to upgrade my pa speakers for a larger venue. I had some Alto TS15 which have a lot of watts, and do get loud. But they really start to distort over 85db, even with a subwoofer taking some of the load off. The Yamaha DZR15, hit 85db and keep going. I had it up to 110db peaking 105db average and it was starting to clip but still not distorting. Not even a little bit, zero distortion all the way to the limit. They are not cheap, but the difference from entry level to top end is insane. On paper they look pretty close, they are not. Spend the money, they are well worth it! Side note, we need pa speaker THD numbers on the amplifier the same way car audio lists distortion.

Sound is very crisp and the beats are solid even at low volumes. I have only one speaker and that is more than enough for home use.
