Best stereo for your money!
WOW! What a super easy install that was! Awesome stereo. Very happy with purchase. I would definatly recommend this over any other stereo. Only a couple cons but not a big enough deal to rate less then 5 star. No AM. Volume only goes to 40. But I can hear just fine at 10. Setting the clock was a little tricky to figure out. I had to go to the BluTth option to set the clock. Not really sure why. The install was simple. I just matched the existing wires from the previous SONY stereo that went out. Nice blue back lighting. Oh and phone calls come through nice and clear. This will be a great plus as driving around here while on cell phones can mean a nice ticket if caught. The instructions also say you can use the USB to charge a device.

You get what you pay for...
Looks nice, easy install. Terrible mic quality on hands free talking. Sounds cheaper than my other cheap bt car stereo. The charger port does work well. Pre sets for equalizer are horrible. Clock on bt\aux is cool, wish more single din bt stereos would have the clock. Does not auto connect to the bt on my phone. This displeases me... Also on an ending note the knobs are cheap feeling... But look what ya pay... So kinda expected. And the volume knob.. depending on the volume, the writing on it could be upside-down or what have you... Not a big deal I guess, but I do find myself annoyed by it. A perfect example is the review above mine. If people hang up on me because of the high-pitched scream over a bt phone call, that definitely deserves lower stars. Go to Walmart and buy the 20 dollar one if you're on a budget but still want something that does what it's supposed to

Awkward design. Disappointing quality
I've had this radio receiver head unit in my vehicle for a few weeks now and I think it's time for me to to review it.Bottom line: very dissatisfied. Here's why. First, I'm not comparing it to some fancy-shmancy radio - this is a cheap unit and I know it. I'm comparing it to other cheap units, and I have owned others.I choose this unit because it has a different design with the double circles and I thought I would like having a different look. This much is true. The benefits stop there. Here are the disappointing aspects in no particular order...Install was a let down. These units are supposed to be standard shape, but this one was ever so slightly off a millimeter here and there that it was a let down in quality.Sound quality is a let down. Other reviews say the volume only goes to 40, and I took that to be an arbitrary number and that it would not affect volume. But I was wrong. This unit is not loud enough.Design is awkward. The preset buttons are placed (more like scattered) around the edge of the unit and not in a line. They are small buttons, too, so pressing a button while driving can be frustrating.Features don't work. The USB charging is a joke. It says "2.1 amp" which implies faster charging, but my phone actually charges slower, and it even tells me so, so I'm not imagining it. When I plug in my phone to charge, my phone reads "charging very slowly".Bluetooth works, but uses the same volume as the music. To be clear, there is only one volume setting for all sources of audio, meaning if you're rockin' out to your favorite band and get a call, the volume will stay loud when you answer the phone. This is a departure from other cheap radio units that store a different volume for each source of audio.More about features... Clock time will not display during most settings. (FM, USB music, Bluetooth, etc.) To my knowledge, clock time can only be displayed when the unit is off, or when on auxiliary. This is a horrible feature, and makes no sense. My last cheap radio had a button to press to get time to display, but not this one. There is no way to dim the display. My last cheap radio didn't have this feature either, and it was too bright, so it drove me nuts, but at least this unit is not as bright. But that's also a con, since it is a little harder to read on sunny days.Poor quality. The buttons are cheap and get stuck sometimes. It comes with a remote. So did my last cheap one. Why is this? I find this to be a waste of effort on their part. Skip that and add some of the more useful features we want.FM reception is very weak. I took out the stock radio and installed this unit so I would have Bluetooth, and I noticed an immediate reduction in FM signal strength.Look. Here's the thing. I know I bought a cheap radio, but this one deserves one star because when I get in the car and look at this unit, I get that "I've been suckered" feeling. This radio is a big disappointment, especially compared to my last cheap radio (which went with the car that I sold).TLDR. Awkward to use, doesn't get loud enough, some features don't work, poor design.

Good Deal, works well UPDATE 1 year later: POS!
Good deal and works well. Installation is a snap with a single DIN dash kit and harness set. Only wish it had more sophisticated options for random play, and better configuration/use of the lcd for display of folder/song titles; one goes through a lot of button pushing to find a particular artist/album. And it does not have AM which is a bummer. After a year's time, the display has failed. It is very heat sensitive and I believe with the onset of summer temps, despite using a sunshield in the windshield. the contacts on the PCB or components are not very good quality and several features including the display have failed due to expansion and contraction with temp. Definitely a sign of cheap components.

Everything Works as described. Good unit.
This system was easy to install. I am impressed with this unit. If you are on a budget, can't go wrong with this unit. All functions work as described. I wasn't expecting much from the hands free calling, but it works. Currently using usb flash drive to listen to my music. FM stations come trough clear. Would definitely buy again.

For $30, it'll get the job done.
Couldn't use the USB in at all, but the charging port works fine. Bluetooth connectivity sometimes loses my phone and seems to require the unit to be powered off and on again to fix. I do that at stop lights, but it's annoying. The volume control is printed so the labels rotate with the dial, but the right side works differently.Honestly, for $30, this sounds great and does what I needed. I wish the mount/sleeve/bracket was a bit taller so it wouldn't rattle, or had more tabs to stabilize, but I get it.

Nice cheap replacement
I have a 2005 car that the radio went out a while back, and I don't want to drop a ton of money in such an old car so I came across this. I myself with the instructions was able to install it with no problems, I love the hands free with bluetooth. Radio doesn't go on when the car is not running and the volume could be a little louder but overall I'm very pleased I have a radio back! Good product for a cheap price.
