I've been wanting to do some top head shots in my videos, the solution was to either change the tripod with one with a reclinable centre column or buy some other expensive support.With this I can actually achieve my result just by screwing the column to my sturdy tripod and connect the camera on one end.Seems quite sturdy even if I do pan or tilt the head.

Got this to make a rostrum camera out of a tripod. It's not bad and for the price, build quality is good. But can wobble so it's always worth making sure your tripod is on a stable floor and avoid touching anything after you've got it set up. I used a wireless remote. Wouldn't fancy my chances outside on a breezy day :)Any camera with the weight of an SLR will definitely need counterbalancing, doubly so if you're using something other than a pancake lens.But it did the job for me.

Purchased this tripod arm for experimental purposes. We run absailing days with youngsters and as part of the package offered take 'action shots' as they descend from both below or above the cliff face. This addition to the tripod allows us to get some really nice action shots to capture and immortalize the moments for parents. Received in no time at all. Good quality and adaptability. Would certainly recommend to vary significantly angled shots, or by further extension, filming.

Bought this to use on my fairly generic Three Legged Thing tripod and safe to say this was not designed with the centre column being generic in mind. Its too small for my TLT or Manfrotto tripods and its really just a useless device now as I can still use it, BUT its loose and thus not too stable.

This is OK for light cameras but does not feel very sturdy when used with heavier cameras.

I used this at a family wedding recently to get some shots which were a bit different from the usual portrait/ group photos. I placed the tripod on a table in the corner, increased the height to just under two meters and then took some more natural photos of people laughing and generally having a good time, but from a high angle. It added real atmosphere to the photos. I would certainly recommend it for this and other uses

This boom arm fits one of my tripods perfectly, I needed it because I wanted to have my camera facing down onto a table top to copy negatives and this was an inexpensive way to do it. The boom and fittings are reasonably well made, but are built to a obvious price point. It is strong and will hold a heavy camera set up.

I bought this to do overhead shots and it works very well. Worth every penny!It also seems very durable, meaning the bolts won't get loose anytime soon and it will be able to hold my iPhone in position for a few years at least.

Il braccio si presenta molto bene. E' robusto, pesante al punto giusto, forse anche troppo, e correlato di sufficienti accessori per utilizzarlo con quasi tutti i treppiedi. Tutti tranne che sul mio :)Avevo un treppiedi troppo leggero ed economico per poter utilizzare questo braccio estensorio in sicurezza: innanzitutto il peso superiore al resto del treppiedi lo rendeva sbilanciato anche senza una macchina fotografica attaccata, e cadeva alla minima sollecitazione. Inoltre il mio treppiedi non permetteva di rimuovere la testa, dove avrei dovuto agganciare questo braccio tramite vite, invece ho dovuto attaccarlo con una soluzione alternativa.Alla fine ho restituito tutto per acquistare un treppiedi compreso di braccio orizzontale, in modo da avere una situazione più stabile in tutte le circostanze.La confezione comprende, oltre al braccio estensorio, due diverse soluzioni per agganciarlo al treppiedi: tramite vite alla testa o tramite un ulteriore braccio da inserire nella testa (dipende dal tipo di treppiedi in proprio possesso). Le 2 viti in confezione sono a doppio diametro: 3/8 o 1/4 di pollice. Sono inclusi anche due ganci per appendere altri accessori o contrappesi o altro.Lo consiglio a chi ha già un treppiedi robusto e di qualità, ma che necessita di un estensione. Lo sconsiglio fortemente per l'utilizzo con treppiedi leggeri e/o economici.

Convient parfaitement avec mon tripode K et F CONCEPT, ne pas hésiter a l'équilibrer avec des poids type haltères 500 g.
