I love these hats. My neighborhood does not have streetlights or sidewalks and walking my black dogs at night can be very dangerous. The first night we wore these hats (with our reflective vests) cars gave us noticibly more room and slowed down. I look like a traffic cone but nobody can say they didn’t see us!

This thing is pretty great. It is definitely highly reflective and provides a great deal of visibility for evening runs. The only improvements I’d recommend would be to give it flatter seams and another thin material overlay so that it could be reversible. As it is now, if you didn’t want to look like your head was a light bulb and turned it inside out, your seams would be sticking up.See pics below for indoor lights on, indoor lights off w/ no flash, and indoor lights off w/flash.

I work the highway at night on accidents and patients. I am always looking for reflective gear to help the oncoming cars see me. I got myself and my partner these hats to increase our visibility. They work wonderfully. Fuzzy, not too scratchy, fit my fat head, Warmish. But most importantly, light up like a Christmas tree.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband to wear when he walks our dog at night. He loves it and wears it all the time. I was surprised how soft the knit is. The hat has plenty of stretch and fits him securely and comfortably. He reports it's keeping him warm, important as we live in Wisconsin. Highly recommended.

The days are shorter, and I am a night shift worker, so I like to go running at odd hours. This hat makes me a lot more visible and a lot less nervous about a driver not seeing me. I find myself wearing it during my day runs too, however, because it's so comfortable! I have super curly hair that poofs and this stretches over my mass of curls like a champ. It's also really well made, nice and warm for these negative degree nights.

Those of you that are runners know that the big brand names want $25 to $50 for their logo stamped on a hat and us savvy and intelligent shoppers know that many of these items are made along side of the brand names but just missing the logo. If you run in colder climates this is the hat for you. The running type - skull caps are great when 40 plus but in the North climate they are a joke. This is the perfect hat providing a balance of warmth with the safety of being reflective. The inside is a nice soft material and the hat has been through several wash cycles with only minor signs of wear. You can buy three of these for the price of one name brand product. I would recommend.

The hat isn't as black as shown on the main photo but it's close. I wear it when walking to work in the morning so cars can see me. It seems to do the trick. Will buy another because if this is like any other hat I've owned, I'll lose it
