Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Aka Ranger "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger" Action Figure

Seriously, this is one dynamite addition to the Figuarts line, and it will be amongst your harshest regrets not to have bought such an iconic character for your collection! The sculpting and articulation is top notch, while the accessory count is surprisingly generous for a 2014 release. You can actually feel the quality radiating from this as soon as you hold it in your hands. So, honestly, I think that it's safe to say that Tamashii Nations really brought their 'A-Game' throughout the production stages here.The only true problem is that AkaRenger doesn't seem to be in scale with the other Figuarts (he's somewhat bigger, and you can find comparison images online if you're diligent enough), but I can't personally say that it bothered me too much.On a somewhat irrelevant note, I'd like to remind everybody that Super Sentai always seems to struggle negatively when it comes to sales, which has led to numerous characters to go unreleased (with their prototypes shown years ago at live events, but no plans whatsoever for the company to actually sell them at the risk of unworthy profits). The entire GoRenger team was shown in Figuarts form back in October (it was awesome), and it'd be a terrible shame if the same thing happened again. Right? So, if you're a dedicated fan like I am, then I think that it would be in your best interest to support this.Anyway, thank you for reading, and I hoped that I was able to help you out! Cheers! ^-^

What should I say, this figure of Akarenger from the 1975 first super sentai series "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger" is a beauty. The sculpt, paintjob and accesories a terrific. I don't know why, but he's a little taller then other sentai figures from S.H. Figuarts, who cares? The bigger the better. Hopefully they release the entire team which was already shown! I would love to have them all! So if you're a super sentai fan or a figure collector, buy this AMAZING figure! It's really worth it!

A very solid figure. Everything about Aka Ranger from the mask to the suit to the weapons can make Toei very proud in terms of doing the original red Sentai warrior justice.

Fan of the sentai genre so this was a must have. Poses great and though haven't played around much with the extras still recommend to.anybody.

The first ever Red Ranger from the very first Super Sentai immortalized in toy figure form. The details are great. Akarenger comes with a lot of weapon and accessories that you see in the live action tv series. It’s truly one of the best Super Sentai figures to have in your collection.

世代ですので買いました。ポージングも良いです。

S.H.フィギュアーツは、桜島1号と旧２号のダブルライダーとサイクロン１台を所有、加えて先日プレバンで販売されたキカイダー、そしてこのアカレンジャーで５体目です。その懐かしヒーロー達との共演を期待していたのですが、先日届いたキカイダーを見て、「ちょっとデカくねぇ？」と思い、アカレンジャーはそれをも上回る「デカッ！」という印象を受けました。もうちょっと、サイズ統一感があってもいいんじゃないかな～。それとも他の戦隊ヒーローのサイズなんでしょうか？造形も、大胸筋っていうんですか、脇の筋肉がモリモリ。ゴレンジャーはもっと布のヨレヨレなイメージがあったので、ちょっと現代的な、マッシブなアレンジなのかな、と感じました。ダブルライダーが小柄で貧弱に見えて悲しくなってくる・・・。今後の展開では、当然ゴレンジャー揃い踏みも期待しますが、サイクロン、サイドマシーンと発売されますので、是非レッドマシーンの発売を、切に願います。そして懐かしヒーローを揃えたい者としては、イナズマン、Ｋ、嵐、アクマイザー３、キョーダインバロム１、ライオン丸(タイガージョー)なども是が非でもお願いしたいところです。
