iPad Mini Case, iPad Mini 2/3 Case - Theone Stand Case with Auto Sleep/Wake Function for Apple iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 & 3-Gold

After reading the mostly positive reviews I was disappointed. If you read the detailed description you will see that it is made of PU leather.PU stands for polyurethane, a type of plastic. Per wikipedia, PU leather is actually a very low quality and thin layer of leather with an embossed polyurethane coating. Thus the leather does not show. The advantage is that it is dirt cheap to buy. TheOne should not have used the unmodified word "leather" in the main description. The case looks good at first glance. But on mine the plastic coating was already coming off the tabs that hold the mini in, and that coating is very thin. I also noticed the poor design a previous reviewer noted. The tabs that you must release to view the screen at an angle are very difficult to disengage. The mini does not sit level in the case because of the design of the tabs. The case does seem sturdy, and was very cheap. But how it will look in 6 months of daily use protected by a thin layer of plastic is unknown.I think TheOne should be more forthcoming about their use of the term "leather". I will be looking for a more substantial case. I did receive an email from TheOne asking me to contact them if I was considering a negative review and the would "make it right", but they did not include any way to contact them. This effort bumped my rating up to 2 stars. I suspect they would refund my money but it would not be worth the bother to me.

The case looks very nice but I don't think it is very durable. After just a few days, I already have a few marks on it -- and it has not been put in a bag or transported anywhere. Darker colors are probably a better choice to hide marks that are so easy to make..

This does the job. I keep my iPad in my purse with other things and this case knicks and dings up easily and therefore doesn't look very good now. It protects, and the magnetic close feature consistently turns the iPad off. If you store and carry the case where it can't get scratched then it would be great for the price.

very nice case. The only issue was the cutout for the charger was a little misaligned which made it hard to get the charger in. Once I trimmed it with some clippers there were no more issue. For the price though I was very happy.

Works as promised! The gold color I got looks great. Fits snugly, and all the right buttons/switches/camera are accounted for in the case.Smells pretty funky though. I'm sure it will outgas, but for the time being, I'm having rather smelly iPad experiences.

I got this in gold about two months ago, and it still works just like it should. It looks beautiful. But it scratches VERY easily, I try to be extra careful putting in and out of my purse but it already has several deep scratches.

It's a really cute cover BUT a huge flaw is that there is not enough room around the stereo jack to keep the headphone in so you have to take it out of the case everytime you want to listen to music/watch movies, etc.

The case is sturdy and is a good fit. The only drawback is opening to get to the tablet. There is no lip and the closure is tight. I have to fight to get it open.
