Really great dried mushrooms, I like to add liquid smoke and some marinade bases to the hot water when I am rehydrating the mushrooms and the longer you let them rehydrate the softer and more flavorful they will be when you cook them in a stir fry, soup, stew, or any dish that you would normally cook with mushrooms.

This has great natural color and the quality and smell is just so fresh. The cooking or prepping is easy and no nonsense and easy to grind if that is what you need for coffee. The taste is as fresh as its gets and the texture is equal to your backyard picks

I love mushrooms! So I was excited to order these dried ones since I can't always get a good blend of fresh mushrooms where I live. They were perfect for mushroom soup. I loved them. Very tasty. I had to rehydrate them in water first and WOW they expanded like crazy - some of them were HUGE. Great flavor though.

Great product for a great price!

I used these mushrooms in a cream of wild mushroom soup. I have used this recipe several times and the soup was always delicious. This is the first time I made this recope with this brand of dried mushroom. I previously used the same type of mushrooms but a different brand, and had no issue. I soaked the mushrooms as required and thoroughly cooked per the recipe. However, the mushrooms were so chewy I could not eat them. So sad because this is an expensive soup to make and it was a waste of money. Not to mention embarrassing as I served this soup at a dinner party, thinking it would be as wonderful as it was in the past. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Very unhappy customer.

I Just made a dish of chicken and rice and decided to toss a few of these in with it tonight. The ONLY bad thing was that I didn’t use more of them!! They are so tasty! They are dried well, and you get a nice variety of large, high quality mushroom pieces in the mix. Stems are included (which is totally fine with me.) I will definitely be buying these again, my partner and I were raving that these were the best thing in the dish! Each one has a distinct flavor profile, and they smelled slightly like cocoa while rehydrating. Amazing. He was snacking on the dried ones while I was cooking the meal lol. They also are very clean! There was minimal debris/dirt when they were washed. If you’re on the fence about it, I absolutely recommend them. I’ll be keeping some in my pantry from now on!

Tough even after long soaking. Mostly stems.

I add these to my pho (rice noodles) soup. After they've absorbed the hot water in the soup, they are like fresh mushrooms. Quite tasty. I cut them into smaller pieces when putting them into the soup.
