The head, I believe, is all plastic. The back does not sound metal, and it is light. The water saver is pressure fitted with metal tabs. It needs a needle nose plier to rip out. But the streams are strong and the controls smooth, I like all 3.The hose is metal jacket and free moving. The hose inside has not totally straightened from the packaging kinks, but hangs fairly straight down right out of the package. Big difference from delta $25, no slider bar.The head holder, I believe, is metal and the locking handle is smooth (1/4 turn) and locks firmly. The angle is not auto-multiple. The angle needs to be locked with a screw. The holder does not travel smoothly and needs some fidgeting to change the position, but still good-acceptable.The tube is thin. I had to cut a little with a tube cutter, and it flexed a bit. It is not an issue with operation, and it is not a safety bar.The brackets are heavy, although I feel that the weight is little deceptive. I saw a metal bar inside, and I couldn't see what function it serves except as a reinforcing bar because the body may be thin, but the bar is length-wise with the body and the body does not flex along the diameter. Maybe the reinforcing bar is a good thing. The bracket is clamped with a set screw.I don't feel the whole setup is worth $100, but it is what I found (it is what it is). This is a problem I have with Amazon buying experience. I like that other reviewers have tried already and returns are easy, but I feel like anything approaching quality gets over-priced on amazon. I did not comparison shop, stores or other web sellers.

Excellent product. Very solid and heavy, does not show water marks or stains. Installation tip: Don't worry about installing the fixture in just horizontal grout lines. Anchor to anchor is about 22" which didn't match up with my horizontal grout lines. However, the anchor brackets are round with two screw holes and can be rotated. So you can rotate the anchors such that one anchor is set on a horizontal grout line and the other is set on a vertical grout line. As such, you should be able to mount the unit on any tile shower and install in the grout lines if you wish.

Not bad for the price. So far I have had it for a few months. The part that the handheld fits into is not a very tight so it is not adjustable to every angle just what is pictured straight down and about 45 degrees. I bought it for showering a toddler so it is fine since the height is adjustable.

We bought this quite a while ago for our new build, just recently installed it. The shower in which it was installed has never been used. In other words, it has never been exposed to water, steam. etc. Nevertheless, this handheld shower has noticeable tarnishing (we purchased the polished nickel finish). It is hard to capture in photos, but take my word for it, it is there and it is significant. It is especially noticeable in the cord.I am very disappointed and will probably have to look into replacing it. I do not recommend purchasing this.

no big complaints, I bought this to replace the shower head and hose of another unit and this one fit fine and I'll keep the wall arm as a spare. My only complaint is that the hose isn't as long as i expected- just measure and make sure you are getting what you need.

Great for Handicap bathroom modification

I did not give this 5 stars becouse the shower head does not have as fine of a spray as I would have liked and I have experianced with other shower heads. Besides that, I love the piece. The finish is great, sharp looking. Easy to install.

The quality of this handheld shower with slide bar is great; however it is NOT 24". The bar itself is only 22" and even fully assembled is just over 23" with brackets(mounting holes are 22" apart). We were replacing a 24" bar installed with holes drilled in tiles 24" apart and really needed a 24" one. When we called the product help line. Courteous but they insisted that the bar is 24" because "that is all we make." When we asked them to measure one, they admitted it was not 24", but really couldn't offer any solutions. We ended up keeping it and ordering a 5' (1" OD diameter) brushed nickle shower curtain rod and cutting off a 24" piece to make it long enough. If you need a 24" slide bar, pick something else!
