Simply Fido Leo 9" Brown Lion Stuffless Crinkle Paper Dog Toy

The toy is small. VERY SMALL.It is flat and stuffless-which is ideal if stuffing is something you don't want your dog to tear out and ingest. Kudos for the stuffless idea, all that is in here is paper you can feel crunch when you squish it.I know others who spoke highly of this toy and also wrote favorably on it, so I took a chance on getting it for a friend's dog.Some of the stitching was separating, and no, I don't believe all of their products are like this, but we could not risk letting the dog play with it. Since it came to me defective- it went back.This size is ideal for a VERY SMALL DOG. AND I MEAN SMALL- OR EVEN A PUPPY. But even with the safe stuff-less body, and usual good quality associated with this brand, do always supervise your pet when playing with a toy of any kind. All of them are potential choking hazards and some large breeds could easily swallow this little lion up like a sock. I already know some canines who ingested socks or pieces of blankets and died in surgery. Don't take the warning lightly.Dogs should have toys- but they should have someone watching over them while they play with them.

Our dog has a habit of grabbing a toy, heading into a dark corner, and working a small section over and over until the stuffing comes out. Not sure why he does this, but my wife and I are tired of cleaning up toy stuffing. We got this because it doesn't contain standard stuffing. My dog loves the crinkling of the material inside the toy as much as his "squeaker" toys. The best part is, if he does chew a hole in it, there won't be balls of fluffy stuffing all over his face and the floor.

I bought this toy for my dog cause she is a small dog & doesn't care for toys that have the stuffing in it. She just loves toys that she can put in her mouth and shake her head. She is also not to keen on toys that have squeakers in it & even though this does it's not overloaded with them.

Our puppy loves this although she is slowing chewing off the ears and mane. I have bought her another in this same line and she loves it as well.

Too small even for my pomeranian. He liked it however chewed through it in one day. I already stitched it up twice.

Very disappointed.Within a few minutes our rat terrier brought me the polyfill STUFFING from the head.There is also stuffing in the feet.The crinkly bit is a plastic bag.

This is my dogs favorite toy! He has always loved Simply Fido and would rip them up in a matter of days but surprisingly the new Simply Fido toys being released like this one seem to be of better quality as none of them have ripped. This is a fantastic toy and I will purchase more.

Smaller than expected. Seems more like a baby toy. My puppy has ZERO interest in it. Think it would be better for a dog 10 lbs or smaller.
