Stetson Seneca 4X Buffalo Felt Cowboy Hat SBSNCA-4134

don’t mind the ghetto pictures lol so i know this says it was a men’s hat but i just had to try it out. it was a great price and it was the exact style that i wanted. it came in great condition, it did not come in a stetson box but was packaged well and delivered carefully. i ordered a 7 which is just one size bigger than i normally get but thats because i read reviews that this hat can be a bit tight. I have an event coming up very soon, and I don’t really have the time to stretch it out. for me it fits perfectly! comfortable but not too loose and stays on my head well. (i did a dance test lol) the color was a bit different than i was expecting but not in a bad way for me! i couldn’t really tell what kind of tan it was based on all the different lighting in picture reviews but i do love it. i’m not sure if they’re all different but it’s like almost a grayish khaki which i actually prefer. this is only a 100% wool hat (so the cheaper of this look for stetsons), but that was more than enough for me since i will not be wearing this for outdoor reasons. i’m just happy to have a stetson! i’d definitely recommend!

This is a brilliant hat. Feels very high end at only 4X. Initial fit is very good and it will only get better with use. Size is spot on for the string method in Stetson's sizing chart. The 4x Buffalo (Bison) wool holds shape and feels firm overall. My other Stetson's (2) are crushable wool, so this is very different. All of them shrug off the elements and stay in place better than any other hat. Amazing how well it stays put in wind. Saddle tested and time honored. There's truly only one Stetson.

I absolutely love this hat. I wear it daily. The hat is well-made and will last me for years.

I bought this hat on the flip of a coin, and had it shipped all the way to New Zealand. Quite pricy, but worth it. Never gotten so many compliments on any article of clothing I've worn in my life. Size was pretty much exactly right even from the measurements of an amateur like myself (Just take 5 minutes to check the measurement using a tutorial or something before you buy, it'll fit). Anyways, I had no idea if this thing would be durable in the rain, so I tested it. First photo is when it got almost completely soaked in a bout of heavy rain this afternoon, the second photo is 5 hours later. I haven't gone to bed yet, but I imagine it'll be dry by morning. You might want some waterproofing spray if you intend to wear it in super rainy conditions, but it should be fine in most weather. It keeps shape nicely and is very durable. I could probably run it over with a truck and it'd walk away without a scratch (But I never would). It's also quite comfortable. Although it does get sweaty (Hint hint, it's a felt hat), it's not unbearable to wear when it's hot out. I imagine this would keep your head warm in cold weather as well, so it's a good hat for most conditions. Overall, it's a very good hat. It holds its weight. I don't really have anything to complain about except the price, but I'm not even going to complain about that because it's worth the money. If it didn't function at all I wouldn't bother saying any of this, but it does, so I do. If it feels a bit big or rigid, just give it a couple weeks. I got mine about a month ago, and it's broken in very well. Also, probably better to get a size up than a size down, since you can always just pad it. If you have the money and the inclination, I highly recommend this hat.

The quality of this hat is very good. The color is what I expected and wanted. It is a Stetson and the quality of this hat lives up to the Stetson reputation. However, I have given the overall rating a 4. The reason is because I currently own two other cowboy hats, both of which are sized 7-1/8. And over the years the hats I have worn that fit best were sized at 7-1/8. Therefore, I purchased this hat in a 7-1/8. Unfortunately, it is a little small. I can wear it, but it is tight, making it somewhat uncomfortable. I checked in to returning it with the hope of exchanging it for a 7-1/4. But the freight charges were about $10, nothing big, but disappointing. I would recommend this hat to anyone who is looking to buy a good quality hat, but I would caution you to be sure of the size. You may need to order a slightly larger size than you ordinarily wear.

Shipping was prompt and the item is as advertised. Very nice hat. The hat is a gift and I don’t wear cowboy hats but it is very good quality and this one came in it’s Stetson box.

Love this hat...Great color and after having it stretched it fits perfectly. I put a nicer band on it but the original isn't bad.

This is the quality you know Stetson for. Well built, excellent shape and made to last. This is the latest addition to my 2 other Stetsons which are nearly 40 yrs old now.

I like this hat, it is softer than I thought in comparison to the Justin Hat I have. It is comfy right out of the box. I look forward to trying out other hats as well. This was my first Cowboy hat so I am not experienced to say weather it is great or poor quality.. I enjoy wearing and it keeps sun off face n neck.
