Great in theory, application tricky
I was a bit skeptical about purchasing a screen protector for my surface, as I was worried it would interfere with the stylus response. After a bit of research I decided to try this one. While the product arrived quickly and in good condition, installation can be a bit tricky. Aligning the screen protector is not the difficult part, it is keeping dust off of the back of the side that is being pressed to the tablet. I could not get it installed without getting dust stuck to the back of the protector. For someone like me, seeing this on the screen would drive my crazy. I think the idea is great, you just need to be very quick once you take the backing off of the protector. My screen protector is now back in the box, Never even made it on to the surface pro 3.

Best feeling screen protector I have used. Stylus experience feels great. Needs careful installation.
I absolutely love the gorilla glass that Phantom glass uses. It feels nice, the clarity is great, and it snugly fits my Surface Pro 3. Additionally, the edges are rounded nicely so that my finger doesn't feel a slight snag when sliding across the edges. This was something I have with my Spigen screen protector on my HTC One M8 and it is a bit of an annoyance. Mostly importantly (for me), the screen protector does not impede the stylus functionality and the pen slides just as if there wasn't a screen protector. If you are looking for something that works great with the Surface pen, this product is it.I found installation to be standard for this type of device, meaning it requires careful installation. It was the first time I was installing a protector on a device as large as the Surface Pro 3, so I had some issues getting it on without any little bits of dust under.I did get a piece of hair under the protector, but prying off the protector a bit and getting some tape in there took that out.Phantom Glass claims bubble free installation, and while I wouldn't say it is impossible to not get bubbles, it certainly seems very hard to get bubbles stuck underneath. You just need to gently place the protector on the device, give it a gentle push in the middle, and all the large bubbles will make their way out. I did end up needing to help the bubbles on the edge along a bit, but I suppose it doesn't surprise me considering the size of the protector for the Surface Pro 3.Phantom Glass also claims that the protector is reusable. However, take care when prying off the protector. After removing the protector to get rid of some dust, I found that I slightly peeled a bit at the adhesive film. Now, where the protector once adhered perfectly with zero bubbles, there are some bubbles in the corner that I pried at that won't go away. Doesn't seemed to effect anything, the corner still adheres on the surface, just that it doesn't look as perfect as before.I haven't had it for long so I cannot comment on durability. I feel confident in the glass itself, so I suppose the only thing I would look for would be the adhesive. In summary:If you are looking for a screen protector that does not impede the Surface Pro 3 functionality, particularly the Surface Pen, then this is the product checks all those boxes. It feels great, has great/perfect clarity, and is very thin. Take care during installation, and it won't look or feel like the device has a screen protector on it.

Great feel on touch screen & stylus, install would be easier with a holder, needs 2nd cleaner & cloth for a tablet.
I took a risk ordering this without reviews, but internet reviews were good, and I liked the thinner depth of this product and the use of gorilla glass. The fit is perfect, install went pretty well, and it's not interfering with my touch screen (I did recalibrate it, just to be sure). The install is interesting on this protector. The Youtube videos for an iphone show a fool-proof plastic holder to use for positioning, but be warned the one for the Surface doesn't come with one. That means you have to line it up and place it carefully. I was able to slightly lift and reposition when an edge stuck a bit, but I don't think you can lift and re-apply if you botch it completely. The cut was perfect with cutouts for the speakers and a small round hole for the microphone. Edges lined up nicely with less than a millimeter gap from screen edge. The interesting part is that once it's in place, the adhesive takes over and spreads out to the edges. A finger in the middle helps the process along, but there's no pushing bubbles out with a squeegee. I did have one corner not stick completely, but I'm not too concerned because it's where the keyboard attaches. I'd be concerned if I were putting it in and out of a case without the keyboard, because I suspect it could catch and eventually break. Overall very happy with this, and while expensive when compared to film-type protectors, it's cheaper than what Microsoft offers and competitive with other glass protectors. The feel is awesome and there's no drag at all with the stylus. I can't attest to its durability over time since I just got it, but I expect it to be good so long as the adhesive holds on the edges and corners. As with all these, install in a clean and well-lit area. I had one dog hair float through, but got lucky it landed on the non-adhesive side.

let me say the package arrive in excellent condition, and well protected from shipping
First off, let me say the package arrive in excellent condition, and well protected from shipping. Given it is made of glass, I was happy to see it arrive safely. This is my first glass screen protector, so I was not sure what to expect. The instructions it arrive with were very minimal, and a bit misleading. That is the reason for a one star deduction. The product itself, after a couple of days only, is so far excellent. It has adhered excellently, and feels much like the original glass. It does seem to get less fingerprints. It is nice piece of mind to know there is something between the outside world and the original surface on my surface.Where the directions are misleading is that it basically says to just plop it on there, and push down in the middle. I did as described, and immediately regretted it. The glue is amazing and was making its merry way along adhering to the surface, but I realized there was a trapped air bubble in the middle of very significant size. Fortunately I was able to lift one edge slightly and let it escape with a little coaxing. It would have gone much smoother if I had followed my instincts and slowly lowered it from one edge to the next to make sure no large bubbles were caught.Otherwise the fit is excellent, the feel is great, and so far so good.
