Analytical and Informative
This book considers the international relations of both North and sub-Saharan African states with the five BRICS countries. It provides a chapter dealing with each and is very informative, even to one who is very up to date with international events in Africa. Although some countries pursue strategies more surreptitiously than others, this author has uncovered a trove of evidence, and presents it to the reader in a compelling format. The book is written in an intermediate density, and is not too difficult to get through. The only qualm I have with the book, which admittedly is a is a minor one, is that it is only ~130 pages, yet costs over $15 for the e-book version. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anybody interested in the emerging international relations of the global south and its long-term implications for the entire world.
