Phosphorescent green is more like fluorescent yellow
I'm pleased with the turtle fur lightweight fleece neck warner for California skiing. If you ski somewhere colder, you would probably want the medium or heavy weight. The lightweight still has a soft, fuzzy, fleecy quality. It kept me pretty comfortable even on days when it was driving snow/sleet. I was a little bit worried about the color that I ordered. It's called "phosphorescent green" but in the picture it looks like fluorescent/highlighter yellow. My jacket is yellow, so I really hoped that the neck warmer was true to the picture and matched my jacket. Indeed, it is yellow, and not green at all. I don't know why they call it green.

Hands down the best winter tube out there
This is the longest and plushest tube, I buy these exclusively and have 6 of them. Mainly I make it into a freeform hat. Pull one end onto your head and fold the other end down and inside itself in the back. Also long enough to make into an open face balaclava covering from the mid top of your head and chin all the way down to the base of your neck in back, toss another hat on top. More colors please, I would buy more.

Pretty Happy With This Longer Size...Wish There Were More Colors
Turtle Fur has a great reputation for a reason. Quality product. I have tried other brand neck gaiters with disappointing results: Too short. Too thin. Too thick (and not warm). Itchy.I wanted a longer neck gaiter and while this Turtle Fur seems to be its longest one...I was concerned once I received it. This longer Turtle Fur is very light-weight compared to other Turtle Furs. One super cold arctic polar snap and I am relieved to say...I am keeping this Turtle Fur. The extra length is EXACTLY what I have been lookimg for and the lighter weight still keeps me warm. Now if only Turtle Fur would make this longer version in safety orange, cornflower blue, a darker grey...I would be buying more.

Love this Turtle Fur Tube
Perfect for skiing and snowboarding. I first found this product at a Vail Ski Resort store. I loved it so much that I bought this beige one for my daughter. I don't like tight things on my neck or feeling suffocated. This Turtle Fur tube is light feeling, but still keeps me very warm. I can easily breath through it. I like to raise it high on the back of my head to cover my ears. Then I put my helmet on top of it. I can then pull it down in front while skiing since I tend to breath harder and pull it up over my nose on the chair lifts where it tends to get cold. We used to wear the black ski masks with the velcro on the back of the neck. But each time it would pull out my hair when taking it off. I highly recommend this Turtle Fur Tube product.

Hate the hard Plastic tag!
This could be a wonderful snuggly neck warmer. Instead it's a hellish torture device! Theres a hard plastic label that digs into your neck! Flip it upside down and the hard plastic digs into your collarbone! And without a seam cutter and a microscope it looks impossible to remove! This is unwearable! Shame on whoever it was that decided that adding a hard chunk of sharp plastic to soft neckwear was a good idea? It's not....Don't waste your money!

THESE GUYS MAKE GREAT S--T
These "guys" make great s--t; wish I'd “discovered" them before I wasted money on stuff that was uncomfortable and did not work; of course I can buy only the very lightest products or I have heatstroke down here (Southside Virginia); it fits, it works, its comfortable. I just know they are liberals, make stuff this good I can even tolerate that. Unless of course they are from the Green Mountains (NE Kingdom) in which case they may be almost as conservative as me. I'll hold that though!

Warm and sporty
I transitioned this year from scarves to this tube thing. I like this because it's less bulky when I'm cross country skiing, and smaller and lighter for when I'm backpacking. I like it hiking because it keeps my chin and cheeks warm.
