I have purchased these type of mats before and love them. They hold up well. They keep the water within the boarders and dry quickly as it seems like it absorbs the water so your not tracking it into the house. I keep one on my back wooden covered porch but the wind blows the rain in. The one I had for so many years finally began to crack around the boarder from extreme heat exposure where I live. This time I purchased the larger size and love it.

I have this outside of the cats litter box, to trap litter that sticks to their feet, between their toes, etc., and so far it does a great job. Won't say its 100% effective, but close...works a lot better than any of the other "litter mats" I've tried.Does have a strong "rubber odor" when new , so leave it air out in the sun a week or so before bringing it inside. Make sure its flat when doing this so it doesn't get kinked or stretched out of shape.

I bought this mat to discourage my toddler from sleeping in front of his door. He shares a room with a younger brother who is still breast feeding and it was getting old quick pushing the door ( and toddler) when we needed to take the youngest out of the room or put him back. The mat is distinctly uncomfortable to stand on and my toddler does not like sleeping on it. The only down side is I didn't scrub it down before putting it on the floor and it stained the carpet black.

This mat is typically used for catching dirt and debris and keeping your house clean, but I bought mine to use inside the house. Besides being an entrance mat, it is also the perfect mat to put under an interior door to keep your pet from scratching and ruining your carpets. I looked at other products specifically made for this purpose, but they were very expensive and only protected one side of the door. I have a couple cats that I need to separate from each other when they eat as one is on special medicated food, so I needed to protect the carpet on both sides of the door. This was an inexpensive solution and works great. The mat is very heavy so it will not shift or get pulled out of the way easily. It also fit perfectly under my doors so the cats can scratch the mat without causing any damage to the flooring.

I purchased this mat up to place under my cats litter boxes to try and catch the extra litter and to catch the ocationall pee spot. See when my cat finds the litter boxes not to his liking, the floor looks like the more appropriate choice for his precious pee. Now don't get me wrong this mat does a great job of containing the litter, and I am sure it would do a remarkable job of containing the foul pee. However he finds it completely unacceptable to urinate upon the mat. And if the litter boxes are not up to his standards he will pee in front of the mat, yes, on the floor. Thus negating the need for this mat. I was tempted to rate it in at four stars, but I guess you cannot blame the mat for not getting peed on.

I purchased this to go inside a large closet where my two cat litter boxes are. It is very heavy-duty, I love the raised edges in case the cats ever have an accident I don't have to worry about the floors getting ruined, and more importantly, the tough rubber spikes/knobs of the mat catch and trap any littler that may stick to their paws. I also have one cat who likes to scratch the floor outside the box when he is done and had previously shredded rugs and other 'litter catching' pads, but not this. It has held up great and am very pleased with it.

Was going to use this for an enclosed porch (for use on the inside). The rubber smell stunk up the whole area and I had little hope that the odor would abate. Even though it looked like a well made product, we had to return because of this flaw.

Well made for my needs. Durable and catches all loose dirt tracking from the garage to the foyer. As well made as it is, it is not for outdoor use as their are no drain holes. But for a transition from a garage to interior, it is exactly what I was looking for.
