Does NOT Come With DVD- Must Create Account with Publisher to Download Video
Not sure who is reviewing this but it does NOT come with CD and DVD and I'm finding that seriously inconvenient. After locating the online download page info (HINT: Opposite the Table of Contents ) you must create an account with the publisher. "United States" or America" were NOT options in the "Country" field of the form but using "American Samoa" let me in. Sheesh. The file size you'll be downloading is 1.87 GB. You'll get the audio "CD" files and TWENTY short clips of movements which have been broken down into individual Mp4 video clips. Each clip runs from half a minute to just over 4 minutes. Now you'll have a bunch of little video clips you get to figure out how to assemble into a cohesive unit because they are not in order. Seriously- title 2 is actually step 7 in the workout. Once you get that mess straightened out, maybe rename and load them individually onto your phone or tablet you'll be ready for a stiff drink. The book itself is cheaply made compared to others in the series -this one sports thin, see-through paper but it does have the nice photos and clear instructions of the other books. The other Chinese Health Qigong books I have purchased all came with a DVD and sometimes a CD so I wrongfully assumed a DVD was included. Nope. It looks like the publisher is going super cheap on this one. Had I known then what I know now I would have skipped this one. Also- I would have returned this book except for the ridiculous shipping cost back to the UK. Grrrr.

An excellent source of instructional material on this qigong set
There are at least 9 books in this series. They all provide excellent instruction in various health qigong forms, and include a DVD to show how to perform the moves in great detail.

Missing DVD and CD
This book came today with no DVD and no CD. I am very disappointed as I wanted to be able to play the DVD on my TV.When you download the online material it doesn't make any sense as when you try to play it on your desktop pc, all it does is show you a random exercise from the 12 movements. I want something that flows from 1 - 12 not No7 then No5 etc. I cannot see anywhere you can download and copy the exercises onto a DVD, and if I could I would not want it in a random order as the whole point of the movements is they flow from one to the next.I will certainly not be recommending this book to anyone in my Tai Chi class.

Could be better
This book does indeed serve its purpose in showing the 12 movements with text and diagrams. The latter are essential although I have seen better and clearer ones. However the text is incredibly detailed and by being so, complicates the issue. The use of English is slightly unusual so I got the feeling it was a poor translation. I feel that there is room on the market for a better book than this but if there isn't, then this will do the job.

The key to good health in an easily understood form
This is an excellent book for beginners and advanced students alike. The DVD material is particularly well made, although the English commentary makes it difficult to perform the exercises in time with the music, but the teaching sections and the demonstrations are first rate.As an experienced Qi Gong teacher, I would say that people wishing to benefit from this Chinese health system could do a great deal worse than take up these exercises as their daily routine

Poor instructional value.
Do not buy this book unless you have access to a chi gung teacher. It is lacking in many regards and not an easy read for the beginner. This book gives a poor description (of an admittedly complex) sequence of movements.Sadly not even worth half the price. No dvd or cd came with purchase. The book does appear to give access to online materials but I have not yet checked it.Perhaps it will make up for the books weaknesses.

This is a very good 12-Method instructional video and manual
This is a very good 12-Method instructional video and manual. Each posture is broken down into its parts and each part is demonstrated and explained. Then, there is a demonstration of each posture in its completeness. In addition, there is a demonstration video that shows all 12 postures in one go. The accompanying CD contains the music with voice-over and without voice-over. I recommend this.
