Matte finish in dry hair? Or high shine? In between?

Use very little of this product and make sure and warm it up by rubbing your hands together. I also put it on my finger tips so I can use it to separate strands better. Shine is kinda in the middle range, it does add some shine but it is not intense. If you use too much it is difficult to shampoo out. That being said, it is a good product.

Is it safe to sleep with this product on or does it need to be washed out the same day?

I’ve always used it and washed my hair 2 or 3 days later. I didn’t have any problems with it.

Is it Sulfate-free ??

It says no laureth sulfate added

What kind of texture does this product have?

I would say that it gives hair definition, not texture. I use it to define my curl pattern and to keep frizz at bay, when I straighten my hair out keeps frizz at bay and makes my hair look really smooth and adds shine
