A/C Heater Blend Door Repair Kit fits Grand Cherokee WJ 1999-2004

This kit has one white metal door and one plastic door (both covered with standard foam) with two plastic post hinges. It also comes with two strips of black, 3x4" tape and something gooey in a sealed silver pouch (grease?). Why they put one plastic one and one metal one in the kit is annoying and foolish. Made in China, which is not ALWAYS a disaster, just not what my war vet dad would prefer. So, it is his Jeep Grand Cherokee and his choice. I am returning this and I ordered the part from JGCParts as the dual blend doors are ALUMINUM as are the hinges and it comes as a unit already put together (no idea if made in USA or not). The part here is in pieces and with a plastic axel hinge, it will just break again.
