H. B. Smith 42 Gallon Contractor Bags - Extra Heavy Duty (20 Count)

These are very heavy duty. Needed for some garbage that was pocking through other bags on a big cleanup. This did the trick. Wondered when I ordered if the 3 Min was going to be enough but I am sold that these are strong. I will be keeping some on hand all the time moving forward. I do with the bag ties that came with this were heavier duty. I ended up using some zip ties that I had that were the right size and they kept the bag closed much better than the bag tie that came with the box

Contractor bags are great. They're sturdier than kitchen trash bags, and I use them for many things. I prefer contractor bags for cat litter disposal, since it gets very heavy. The bags won't tear.They're also nice for storing off-season clothes. I prefer a big bag like this, since they don't stretch and rip open like regular trash bags. I also find that the shape stands up a little better; it isn't designed to be inside a trash can.The box on these is nice, and has a large tear-off area that serves as an opening flap for easy bag dispensing.

The bags are great. 3 Mil. but the condition of the inner box was not. The wire ties were protruding out through a broken seam in the damaged box leaving me to think maybe some were missing. The wire ties were of too light a gauge as well. Heavy duty bags should have heavy duty ties. No five stars here!

Great garbage can liner.

Nice -- neatly folded in box, easily extricated. Very strong, hard to puncture. Fits a standard garbage barrel and holds tightly around the rim, bag will not slide inside barrel. There will be extra room to add more garbage once you pull it off barrel b/c it's taller than the barrel itself.

Not as durable as I expected. But the size is big enough to hold stuff. I was just hoping it would be stronger.

I, like previous users have said, buy contractor bags for when I dump my cat's litterboxes. You don't want them to tear and spill the nasty stuff on your floor on the way to the trash barrel. I normally buy another brand, but these were cheaper. Lesson learned. The first heavy load -- that had nothing inside capable of causing a puncture -- had a hole and left a messy trail. Very disappointed in these.

Used the bags to bag up clothes for a clothes drive. Bag got a hole after someone pushed on it to let out air so we can tie the bag and bag got a whole on the side. Used other bags did the same and no hole in them
