Extensive
I admit that I am lucky to know/be aware of the existence of careers/employment/jobs related to some of the information that is in this kindlebook titled Food Supply Chain Management Economic, Social and Environmental Perspectives by Madeleine Pullman Zhaohui Wu because of multiple things I have briefly seen both at my current place of employment and observing other supply employees from other buildings close to my job that work in this field. Additionally, I had the opportune chance to interview for a job related to food supply around 2 years ago through my current company though I confess that I am intuitively aware that sailing through the interview experience with greater self confidence could have been a reality if my knowledge on food supply chain management was more fleshed out. Additionally, I have been lucky to experience working in other parts of the supply field in Japan, California, Florida, and Virginia from my time in the navy and I both logically and intuitively understand that a person like myself must keep an open mind to getting my hands on whatever books andor kindlebooks I can related to supply andor food supply if I were to take the leap of enrolling in some supply related college courses/supply related certificate courses in the near future. Some of the features contained in this kindlebook that is Food Supply Chain Management Economic Social and Environmental Perspectives by Madeleine Pullman: Food is big business in America and feeding our own population generates at least an estimated $1 trillion in consumer sales each year, the section on animal protein supply chains feature info that includes how Wendy’s are among the major multiple fast food chains affiliated with spearheading standards and policies for animal handling in their protein supply chains, the Dairy Farmers of America have at least around 17,000 members and produces at least 62 billion pounds of milk each year, a section pertaining to the rice supply chain, a section pertaining to fruit and vegetable supply chains, prior to the 1800s fruits and vegetables could only be stored or preserved-canned pickled salted- if they were to utilized out of season, more than 48% of food is consumed outside of the home environment either at a commercial food place (restaurant) or in a noncommercial food service environment (school), the commercial food service industry includes restaurants, fast food establishments and bars, travel and leisure vendors, vending machines, take-out vendors, places that sell ready to eat food etc, the demand for fast food has increased by at least roughly 6% since the mid-1980s, even many sport stadiums and convention centers are more frequently including selected fast food and casual chains, gourmet hot dogs burgers sushi, microbrews, and house cut fries are among the multiple products/items becoming more popular in certain public eating places, and more.

Excellent For University But This Is An AMERICAN Book
As I'm studying food science and supply chain management I wanted a textbook to compliment some of my modules. This actually wasn't on the reading list (it is an American book so some information is not relevent in the UK) but I found this online and liked the look of it. I've found it very useful so far and been able to take extracts to use in arguments in essays. As I'm one of the few using a book that was written outside the UK that has been able to give me different perspectives on current food issues. The book is easy to use, filled with excellent tables and pictures and very useful to have. Please remember though this was written for the USA and the figures used are not to be confused with the UK. And excellent book if you want a different view point on such an interesting topic.
