These do run large. Purchased size 5, however they feel more like a 7 (normally wear 6.5). They fit alright if wearing heavy socks but really aren't the type of shoe a person can slip on and quietly or comfortably wear around the house as they do make a heavy clip-clopping noise when you walk, so for me anyway, they will become a fall /winter shoe. With that, the traction on these clogs is excellent to where I can confidently wear them outside on icy, snowy walkways. Grip like this on shoes, and even on a lot of winter boots these days, is rare. Am not real happy with the plastic-like material, as I was hoping for more of a softer, rubbery type of flexibility. Unfortunately, this, too, is hard to find in a 'rubber' clog these days.

I shouldn't have bought these shoes. They did not offer enough cushion for my back and I have been out of work with my back for a few days. I'll be taking these shoes out of the rotation. Very disappointed.

These Birkenstocks are so comfortable. Easy on, easy off. They do make my feet hot. Great support.

I use these shoes religiously for work. I'm a cook and an ex-dishwasher, and these were my go-to shoes. They're easy to clean, and nearly impervious to water. If the sole starts sliding around, just take a paper towel to the inside of these, dry them out, and they're good as new! Even as a cook, these are far better than any boots I've had thus far, and don't plan on changing a bit! There was a slight bit of an issue with the shipping, where the parent company and Amazon didn't communicate together, but so long as you check the order on the parent company, you will be fine!

I have been on a Birkenstock kick, these would have been the third pair I currently own, the first pair for work and I don’t like them. They are too big and frumpy looking even with my tiny feet.

Perhaps, I purchased the wrong style/model. Although I am a size 7 regular, even a size 6 was too big, too wide, yet my toes were too much to the front on size 6 while the clogs were coming out my feet as if they were 2 sizes too big. That style seems to not come in a 5.

The 'foam' description is deceptive. Shoes are HARD and inflexible. I stand for 10-11 hours and have a hard time walking to my car. It could be my feet or my age but I just didn't have the time (and $30) to return them thinking I'd invest in one of the inserts I saw while shopping for the shoes. I know, the inserts are in the $40-$60 dollar range but I can wear thick socks and buy the insert on line.....

Nothing need be said about birks to those who know them, to those who don't be careful regarding sizing as Birkenstock thankfully still uses various widths. I wear a wide 44 but in american sizes I need a longer shoe to accommodate the width.

I originally ordered a size 9.5 as in some shoes I’m a 10 and others a 9 but they were way big so I ordered a 9 and to be fair I was refunded promptly but the 9 is also way to big if I was to order another I would drop down to an 8

I am a religious wearer of Birkenstocks, and normally a 39 will always fit. These were like boats on my feet. The insole moved around and it took real concentration to make a few steps in them. I work in a hospital and could not see myself being able to handle these at all. They were not comfortable either. Very hard.

Love these shoes, perfect for work as can wash them if dirty either in sink or machine. If they get smelly just replace insoles. Don't get any calf or foot pain even when on feet all day. Have fallen arches and plantar fasciitis and these really help.Wouldn't wear anything else for work

The footbeds are Birkenstock but bear very little relationship to the sort you get with the eternal sandalsFeel har wearing and Im sure they'll last forever but Birkies ... no, not really!
