Easy to install and works well
Bought this to use on my boat for fishing. It installs easily and works smoothly and holds in place. Wish it came with mounting nuts but it does not.

Doesn't fit as good as the original Springfield. However for a third seat it works well enough.

Defective Product
After an illness I finally got around to installing the pedestal. The bottom of the pedestal was not consistent with the upper part. The bottom was not finished with "lines" of disfigured oversize that would not let the pedestal go into the mounting hole. I looked back on Amazon and found I was past the window to return the product. With that being said I had to grind down the pedestal in order for it to fit into the opening. Would not buy this product again.
