Excellent book from Javed Akhtar. The English translation is equally excellent. One can read the poems in either Hindi or Urdu scripts.

The fascinating thing about this book is that it is tri-lingual and Javed writes beautifully. One must buy this book for the love of poetry.The quality and delivery of the books was good.

This review is not for Javed ji. He is as always, a bright star, shining verily amidst the gems of Urdu ghazals and shers. The review is for the translation. Extremely poor translation. If you are a connoisseur of good poetry, or love to roll in the depth of emotions, please don't buy this. This translation is a disgrace to Javed Ji's works. I wish Sunjoy Shekhar (who translated Gulzar's 100 Lyrics) did a translation of this. This is an extremely poor example of Javed ji's poems translated to English.I received this today evening, and have already scheduled the return for tomorrow.

This is a Gem of a book. If you're into your meaningful Poems and thoughts, well look no further. This book has got many poems that will make you think, got kind of emotional reading a few if I'm honest. Nice, light read.
