Beijing Travel Map Fourth Edition (China Regional Maps) Map – Folded Map, July 15, 2008

While in Beijing for 10 days, I used this map about 30% of the time. It was useful to map out general direction while traveling in the main part of town. But when it came to locating the specific street location, the names are not sufficient. Also the scope of the more detailed side only extends to the Beijing zoo on the NW side and then just to the north side of the Temple of Heaven on the south side. Anything beyond that you'd have to see on the broad and much less detailed side of the map. I had this map and the map from the guidebook, but I used the map that we got at the hotel the most! ps. The subway map is the most important! Subway travel in Beijing is fantastic! (no subway map on this version, but they are easy to get elsewhere)

I liked this map the best of three that I purchased. The print was large enough for me to read without magnification. Portable enough for me to carry around while touring.

I have used this company for three maps, Tokyo, Taiwan and China. These maps are fantastic. Very detailed and very well made.

I looked at over a dozen Beijing maps, and when I got there in October 2008, found this one was the most complete, the easiest to read and use, and very up-to-date. The street index was also the most complete, something you will really appreciate if you get off the beaten path and especially if you will be exploring any of the hutongs. It unfolds into quite a large map & that can be a little unwieldy, but it's worth carrying for the wealth of detail - for one thing, Beijing street names tend to be very long, and very similar to each other, and they change every mile or so (really!), so it's nice to have a format where you can actually read each one if you are trying to find something! Highly recommended.

La cartina si presenta molto bene, chiara e dettagliata specialmente nella visuale sul centro città. L'unica pecca è che confrontando le linee metropolitane ci sono diversi tratti che non corrispondono, probabilmente perché non aggiornatissima. In generale, sonl soddisfatta e mi sento di consigliare questo prodotto.
