It's breaks everything down step by step so it's easy for you to comprehend everything that will be on you test. Another feature or two that I like is that it's not out of date and teaches the new things gs that will be included on the 2014-2015 version of the GED tests. The second feature I like is that it also has 2 online practice tests so you can pick your brain before you waltz into the test station and that your test. It helps you find out your where you are doing good in certain subjects and where you are down falling in others. Where ever it shows you aren't doing so hot in a subject just open the book to that chapter and learn it easy as pie as they break it down for you. Review: Just what i needed! - I am currently using this book to help with my ged. It has a lot of practice test and is very informative. It's up to date and seems a lot harder than other books I've purchased, but to me I think that's better. Whether or not the information on the test will be as hard as some of the practice test in the book, I believe it will prepare me better. If your looking for a good book that will make you more knowledgeable, I'd buy this one. I think with good material, dedication and hard work, anyone can pass the GED test.

I have not taken my G.E.D test quite yet but this review book is awesome. It's breaks everything down step by step so it's easy for you to comprehend everything that will be on you test. Just what i needed!
I am currently using this book to help with my ged. It has a lot of practice test and is very informative. It's up to date and seems a lot harder than other books I've purchased, but to me I think that's better. Whether or not the information on the test will be as hard as some of the practice test in the book, I believe it will prepare me better. If your looking for a good book that will make you more knowledgeable, I'd buy this one. I think with good material, dedication and hard work, anyone can pass the GED test.

Well written, easy to follow
My son is working his way through this book. He says it is easy to follow and is building his confidence. He has been taking the pre-tests and soon will tackle the practice tests. He is a foreign exchange student studying in America. He won't have a diploma from his war torn country (schools are closed), or from USA, so getting his GED is his best hope to enter a college and make a great future for himself. He says the book is most helpful.

A well explained book.
First I must say I do not work for or advertise for Kaplan.I purchased this book in February/March 2015.I found it to be an excellent book in terms of the Math and Science sections (did not need English or Social Studies).I also used the new Mcgraw Hill GED textbook as a secondary assistant to this book.I took both tests second week in april and passed on my first try.It was alot of studying and hard work and it paid off.I now have my GED diploma. The TI-30XS calculator is also a must have..practice how to use it as it will help save time on the math test.Hope this review helps...Goodluck!

Very Helpful
Ordered it on prime, here within the 2-days. Have not been able to go through it all and plan out lessons but from what I have been able to read, it seems very detailed and helpful. Not only does it teach you on the subjects needed( mostly overview of course) but it teaches essential test taking skills that is vital when taking a standardized test. I highly recommend this book brand new because you can also register the book online and take practice questions, make lesson plans and get an idea to how the computer format on the test will be like

It worked for me in 2016.
This book is great. I passed my GED in about 3 months of studying. The online resources within the book were also invaluable for my GED study Process and the book is well written. I only used this book, the online prep tests/videos, and a few Khan Academy videos. I pass all my tests with a score above 165.

Great investment
Im currently enrolled in an online GED course but I wanted to study something that was more specifically geared towards the GED itself. So far I think the book has helped me much more than the courses have. The courses are teaching a huge range while the book is very focused on what I will need and explains things a lot more clearly. I'm glad that I purchased it and I feel much more confident in my ability to pass the tests now.

False Advertising
The book is okay. There are quite a few typographical errors but it is still helpful. My problem with this book is that it specifically says that you have online access but when I registered my book there is no where else to go other than to buy one of their programs. I called the 1-800 number and I was given an email address, not even the choice to speak to a representative. This book cover is very misleading.
