Very loud but can control volume if needed
Omgosh this was absolutely perfect! I used this at a rowing regatta for my kids. It's best for outdoors if a sporting event like ours because it's very loud and for us it was perfect. It can be heard in all the videos take by others that weren't close by. Love this drum! Yes it was obnoxious but our kids heard us from the water and that was the purpose.

Great drum
Perfect. I go through one of these drums about every 9 months or so with the strength at which I play and how often. But these are the best for traveling and not worrying about fluctuations in temperature. Very consistent drum. Always a lovely sound.

Very impressive and well made
So this was my very first frame drum and I also ordered the very popular Remo 16" Buffalo Bahia Black Earth drum as well, which is arriving tomorrow. I listen to and watch videos from Norse/Celtic Pagan folk bands like EiWar, Eivor, Heilung, A Tergo Lupi, OTYKEN, Othala, Omnia, Faun, to name a few and wanted to play the drum like they do in their songs. I have been looking up my game and improve my rhythm as I play the Ukulele, acoustic Guitar, NAF, and the Tin Whistle. This will make me a better musician, and allow me to connect with the warrior and beast side within. The primal beats are calling.

Unbelievable!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this drum for my sound healings. Based off the reviews, I felt like it was gonna be the best one for the price. Plus, I loved that it was vegan. Boy oh boy this drum! This is seriously one of the coolest drums and sound I have ever heard. It echoes fantastically and it’s deep. It’s Definitely therapeutic and it vibrates in the most amazing sound. I can’t even say enough great things about it. This is perfect for shamanic journeying.I tried to capture it on video, but it does not do it justice. It’s even more special in person.
