Not very white beam
Easy to install. The beam is a low 4000K maybe even 3900K. Not very white, they have kind of a yellow tint to them. Bright, but not very white.

Nice Color Light, Just Not Too Bright
Seeing the 100w rating I bought two sets. I have a pair of Hella 100W for my other car and they work perfect, excellent light and clean pattern, but the 2008 Mini Cooper takes a different bulb, the H13/9008. So I bought this. The color is very nice, like daylight. They don't spill light all over like some after market bulbs, so I was happy about that. The low beams are not bad, not as bright as the rating led me to believe. When put on bright, they nearly fade out. As if they lost 50% of their power. I switched bulbs, since I had purchased two sets, and same thing. They are simply under-powered.The build quality is erratic, thin finger tabs (mine broke during install), mis-aligned socket tabs, so much so that not one in four would plug directly in without quite a bit of fiddling. When I examined the socket, comparing each to the other, the little metal tabs were in slightly different locations in each bulb. They are inexpensive because they are inexpensively manufactured.

Very bright
Not a problem here either. Good build quality. As good as any other brand I have bought as far as design goes. They are much brighter than a stock style. The do draw more amperage. If the factory wire is not large enough this would also lead to low power as the gent eluded to with the low review. A simple fix would be to run a larger diameter power wire than the factory did. However if he broke the mounting tabs odds are his bulb is not centered in the headlight assembly as it should be. The light would not be focused properly and performance would suffer. It is truly unfair to give a product 1 star due to improper instillation. A better option would have been to contact the manufacturer, then watch a youtube video on how to do it when he had the new part. Or let someone change it that knew how.

DON'T buy VISIONX
DO NOT BUY VISION X Brand!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!This is the first review I have ever written. I feel compelled to provide information to other potential buyers of products from this manufacturer.First, these headlights are not much, if any, brighter than the OEM bulbs. Second, I installed these at the end of November. It is now early March, and 1 bulb is already burnt out. Ok, these things have a warranty right? They sure do. I called VisionX to inquire about the warranty. I was instructed to package my light bulbs up, send them, along with a check for $10.95 to cover "shipping", and a new set would be mailed back to me.When I asked what I should do about driving at night while I waited, I was transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that honestly, the best thing for me to do would be to just purchase another set from Amazon. He also could not advise me on what to do about driving at night after I sent both my bulbs back for warranty. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said I could not, but then changed his mind and said sure, he would transfer me. He then hung up on me.So, if you want bulbs that will last about 3 months, a useless warranty policy, and rude/unhelpful customer service, go ahead and purchase these. If you want a quality product, backed by a practical warranty with polite customer service, you should look elsewhere. VisionX is a horrible product, has a warranty designed to be prohibitive to use, and rude/useless customer service. I would not purchase another product from them again, and would not advise anybody to purchase anything from them.

Four Stars
The product is OK, but one bulb came already broken

Poor value
These bulbs provided poor light output in my opinion and the high beam filament burnt out within months on both left and right headlamps. I would not purchase these bulbs again. I installed a Hella bulb to replace this one and the Hella bulb is FAR SUPERIOR in light output.. time will tell on the longevity of the Hella, but so far so good.

These bulbs are good for the price
Many have left comments stating the lights aren't very bright or as bright as they thought. There are two possible and likely reasons for this.1) The bulbs are a higher wattage and some cars will only allow a certain draw (watts) so check to see if the lights will make a difference on your vehicle. (The Mini Cooper tends to only allow a lower wattage(stock) draw so the difference is negligible and will only slightly alter the color/hue of your headlights - However, on my Mustang, the difference is almost literally night and day!)2) Upgrade your wiring harness (you can buy them very cheap...just plug and play extensions off the factory plug) and investigate if your fuse will allow enough Amps to power the bulbs. I've seen some applications where the bulbs won't even light due to watt/amp restrictions.All-in-all, the bulbs are meant to provide a slightly better color tone (Kelvin rating)that looks more like sunlight. One deceptive feature of these higher Kelvin bulbs (5000-10000K) will appear to barely be on at dawn or dusk or in certain lighting conditions. IT'S AN ILLUSION!!! Because these bulbs are closer to the color of natural sunlight (yes, white...not yellow like a picture of the sun) it "blends" with the surroundings. Look further down the road at reflective signs. You can tell the difference during the day! These bulbs are not "true" "euro-style" bulbs. Euro bulbs put out a much more defined pattern. If you park in front of a wall and turn the headlights on and you see two bright spots with light "spreading" out from there then they are NOT euro style bulbs. Euro style bulbs leave a "flat", almost completely parallel line...which, on roads with changing elevation, can cause some drivers to flash their high beams at you. THESE bulbs are, for all intensive purposes, an inexpensive upgrade to your stock lights. They are NOT "HID" bulbs, they will not be "blue" like some other bulbs (check the Kelvin ratings...not just the "color" listed in the product description), and they will likely last less time than direct OEM replacement standard wattage bulbs....but there's nothing wrong with them.

You pays your money and takes your chances.
Installed the bulbs last night, worked great, adjusted my lights. Went to work in the morning(5:00am), low beam was awsome, when I turned on high beam I could see quite a bit further down the road but the light output was like half of the low beam. when I got home(7:00 pm) ichecked my lights and the high beam was burnt out on one side. Would be very upset if these were more expensive, still not happy though. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE.

Worth every cent
I live in the north and I needed good bright long distance lights , and these do the job . They do tend to burn out , but you should replace every two years or so anyway as at 80/100 they do run warm . I have run these for 10 years plus and in snow storms, they are the boss cutting through the toughest of sleat . They are not a city or around town light , but for the open road get a set and enjoy the drive .
