M.2 SSD 5mm Low-Profile Heat Sink Compatible with PS5 and PC (NGFFM2-HS804-BK) Black

This is the absolute best fit for a PS5. It sticks to the drive perfectly, has two compression bands just in case, and keeps the drive cool even under long read/writes in excess of 100GB. I have paired it with a Crucial P5 Plus. I have purchased and installed multiple, even one in a PC with very low clearance due to nearby components, and I always keep at least one on hand.

Bought for my new 4Tb M.2 NVMe in my PS5. Low profile, fits with the shield cover and works amazing.Does the job great.

It might not be strictly necessary to put heat sinks on an SSD - but I get a bit concerned when the one in my gaming laptop gets above 150f. Cooler is better for solid state electronics and this does a good job, dropping the temp by at least 10f, and more if I've got the cooling pad going.Plus, I just get a kick out of something simple that works well and looks good - and this looks good.No problems installing - just follow directions. Or, you know, not - it's not like the thermal pad installation before you put on the heat sink is much different than double-stick tape. If you're comfortable with taking apart a laptop or desktop to upgrade/replace your SSD, you should be able to manage this with no problem.5 of 5 stars, will get again if needed.

Had to return it. Does not fit Terramaster F4-423. Case will not close with it installed.

I had an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive that was behind the motherboard and temperature were reporting in the 70s. I didn't measure if this was affecting performance, but I wanted to cool it regardless. My chassis has a cutout for rear motherboard access and there was enough room for this slim heatsink. When I assembled it and powered on the machine, the heatsink was just as hot as the drive to the touch, so heat transfer is great. However, the heat would just sit on the heatsink and drive temperatures didn't improve. As soon as there was a small amount of airflow, the drive temperature would drop. However, airflow on the back of the motherboard is hard to achieve in my chassis. Good product; best served with active airflow.

Product fit on my ssd stick. I went and pulled the ssd from my laptop. Bought this so I could put in my PS5. Everything fit in it. But I laughed and took it out of the PS5 because the ssd was a gen 3. PS5 only takes gen 4 and up. But hey. Nice product.

It doesn't really stick at all but you get 2 rubber bands to hold it all together. As far as I can tell its working. I bought to install on a SN850 2TB card for expanding the internal space on my PS5 and it fits perfectly. So no complaints.

No issues installing.
