Life Extension Peony Immune, 60 Capsules

This is my first time writing a review. This has been THE best supplement to help with my autoimmune disease Rheumatoid Arthritis. I wasn't expecting much since every other "anti-inflammatory" supplement I've tried hasn't worked. But surprisingly, only after a few days, I started to feel a difference. I take 2 pills a day (1 with lunch and 1 before I go to bed) I'm not saying my RA disappeared but Peony White extract does reduce your inflammation with zero side effects. I'd say I feel 25% better. Also going "gluten free" has help reduce inflammation another 25%. I'm only 40 years old and I refuse to take drugs that will blow out my immune system and do severe damage to my body. So going GF and taking Peony White extract have been the best alternative to so-called "modern medicine". I just reordered 2 more bottles, totally worth the price. It works for me. It's such a HUGE help with my RA. I pray that Life Extension doesn't stop making it. It's the only place that makes it(that i know of).

My dry mouth symptoms persisted for about a month. The only thing new thing I did was a Botox treatment between my eyebrows and about a month later my dry mouth symptoms became almost unbearable. I am not sure if it’s a coincidence or it’s the cause. My saliva came back after 2 bottles, I can feel a huge difference. I took a break from it for about 6 months now. I will go back to it when I feel the need to. Update:4/25/2023 My rheumatologist told me she’ll follow up in one year because my blood work has been normal and I have no symptoms. I started with two pills each day and decrease to 1 pill after my results came back normal for 1 year. I took about 8 bottles in total. Other things I experienced while taking two pills per day were my menstrual cycle was on time each month and my skin was clear of acne.

Helps a lot with my mild rheumatoid arthritis. I am very reluctant to take standard pharmaceuticals for rheumatoid arthritis since all of them -- and I mean all of them -- so far are only immuno-suppressants, that can make one prone to illnesses including cancer. Peony Immune is a superb Immuno balancer. Of course, if one has more severe rheumatoid arthritis one would likely also have to take pharmaceuticals. Clinical evidence has shown that people can be on a lower dose of pharmaceuticals when taking these immuno-balancers. It takes quite a while for the digestive system to adjust to Peony Immune; at least it did for me. Start off slowly, with just one per day; gradually work your way up to two per day. Then, after a few weeks, you can take three per day if you need to. I currently take three per day. I was taking Moducare for my arthritis too, but it was actually making my arthritis worse. Peony Immune, however, works perfectly for me! Highly recommended!

I haven’t been on it long enough for results, but it is easy to take and didn’t upset my stomach.

Definitely not good! The horrible side effects are real!!! First 2 days were ok then poof!!! I have taken white peony before from a different brand and never made me feel so uncomfortable with the runs and loose bowels. It's definitely feels more like a laxative than anything else.

After receiving a recommendation from a nutritionist to buy Peony Root Extract for Sjogren's Syndrome, I came across this product. Not easy to find peony extract everywhere but, as usual, Amazon has it. I also am a big fan of the quality of Life Extension. Was not a prime product but SmartBodyz had it at my door very quickly. Haven't been on the product long enough to see a difference but it's worth the try, as it beats being on Plaquenil or worse!

I now take this three times daily to reduce the pain and swelling in my fingers due to psoriatic arthritis. I plan to continue indefinitely. I am now off all the standard psoriatic arthritis medications due to cost and/or side effect concerns. Some pain/swelling persists, but I can live with that as it is now greatly reduced. I take with food and with immodium to help reduce gastrointestinal side-effects. Update May 2019: I continue with one capsule every 8 hours. Significantly reduces pain and inflammation, I also inject 10mg methotrexate weekly (Peony Immune is compatible). I take 1/4 dose immodium twice daily to reduce gastrointestinal side-effects.
