Blood meal is a 0-0-0 fertalizer I use on my olive trees. I just spread it near the base of the tree and let the irrigation soak it into the soil. I can see the difference in the trees in a few weeks and the olive production is much greater 4 months later.

So easy to sprinkle around sprouting plants. It gives the garden a great springtime boost and corrects any yellowing. Since I don't use chemical fertilizers, it's an imperative, yet hard to find locally...especially the larger sized bag.

Good stuff for your plants. How funny, Im vegan and my plants eat cow blood. This turns kale into a jungle. Love it!!!

I used this product for the first time this year. It was recommended through a Facebook group. Will use this product from here on out. I used in combination with bone meal also

If you want a great garden, get this product and use it every month on your vegetables!!!

I don't have a fence around my garden but I use this blood meal to scare them away. I sprinkle a bit on the plant and around it. Then after a rain, I'll go back and do it again. After a few times using this, I don't even have to use it again because the critters cut a wide swath around it. It works for us here in Michigan.

It's potentially a good product. Added small amounts to the garden as soon as it arrived. Bag will probably last a long time given how little of it we'll need, although we understand the product will lose its effectiveness as time passes. In any case, it's hard to determine whether the product has an effect or simply time. It has a strong scent which will deter certain animals, but also attract others. Not for vegan gardeners.
