Pretty good case. Stays true to the slimness of the iPad Mini. The buttons are hard to press though. The power button has to be pushed in all the way for it to hit the button on the iPad. The volume buttons have to be hit in the right spot or they won't hit the button on the iPad. The switch is also a monster to get since it's just a small cutout. If buttons were fixed this would easily be a 5 star case. The rest of the cutouts are perfectly aligned. Color is spot on and there are no funky smells coming from the case.As to whether it would protect my investment from a fall.. Jury is still out on that. I can definitely tell a screen protector is required since the case is so slim. But I'm the paranoid type ;)

This case is pretty solid with the rubber case and hard suede like material on the outside. Colors are vibrant and not cheap looking. I have bought several iPod and iPhone case but I never review them but this one was a good purchase. This was my first iPad mini case so I was not expecting much for 15 bucks. But, this is a good case. It's a little heavy, but it's plastic and soft plastic. How heavy can it be? The buttons function just fine with this case. I'm typing on it now as I have the built in leg holding it on my desk.The case covers the entire back. No front coverage other than the small lip that actually gives me something to hold on to. Let's face it. This mini is hard to hold without a decent case. The hard part of the case, the black part, is a little slick.I plan on adding some rubber stickers or tape to help with this.If your not happy with the look of this case, it's still cheap enough to get you thru til you find something more expensive.

This durable case is a perfect alternative for those other expensive brands. I have always used "LifeProof" or "Otterbox" for my cell phones. I always paid way too much for the name brand. This product very much compares to the durability of those other brands. The only negative is the orange part gets dirty looking after a while. It remains slim and easy to hold, it isn't bulky like many other cases I have purchased for my ipad mini. It has held up well in the 2 years I've been using it! I would definitely purchase again!

I like that there's a lip on the case, so that even if the iPad is face down on cement (? lol), the tablet face is not getting scratched up because it's raised.My concern with this case is that my daughter often tosses her Pad into her oversized purse. There is no protection if something jagged hits the tablet's face hard enough to crack, but ... I do feel better about if she drops the Pad now.LOVE the orange color!<3 It's bright and fun. And, easy to see in a cavernous bag.Edited 11/15/2014:7 months later this case is as good as the day she put it on. Have had no issues with the face getting scratched or cracked, so I'm no longer worried about her using this case.

The price was good, the add said 2 day free shipping. It came in 2 weeks and cost me $8.19 for shipping & handling. I ordered orange and the email I recived to do this RATING siad I orded orange, however I recived a red one. By the time I do the return it and recived he orange one I would have almost double the money in it. Even if I just ordered a now one I would have the cost of 3 and only have 2. So unless amazon fixes this it will be my last order with them!

Very easy to put on case. It snags mini in a very secure way, there is no way the mini would "slip out" of it.The feel is also good, soft and slightly rubbery, easy to hold.I wish there would be a cover for the screen, too. I would feel better about putting my mini inside the bag.The only real drawback is that the kick stand only supports mini in horizontal position, I would like to have both option though.But overall, it is pleasant, secure and good looking case. Recommended.

We purchased this case to protect the ipad mini from small drop, rough handling etc. We had a notebook style case and discovered, the hard way, that they do not offer much corner protection. This case offers basic protection of all the ipad's edges including the corners. The rubber like shell is a little harder than other I have seen, so more shock from a drop is transmitted to the ipad.On the good side, the case is very thin and if you are looking for a minimal case with good basic protection this is a good choice.If the case is for a kid's ipad, I think I would look for a more heavy duty case than this one.
