Easy and simple to use
The last time I had a fish tank, the Dynaflo filter was nothing more than an empty plastic tank with a built-in motor that spun a magnet floating impeller. It was groundbreaking technology for its time. The downside was that you have to purchase filter floss and activated charcoal separately, and wash each before installing. You didn't change the filter as often as maybe you should have because it was a sloppy process. Enter modern design, and now changing a filter is a simple as running water through the cartridge, removing the old one and installing the new one. Presto! I change the filter on my little 5 gallon portrait tank every 2-3 weeks and the fish are doing just fine. Very impressed with its ability to capture particles in the water. It is priced for the convenience that it affords you.

The Eclipse Z replacement filters worked great. I was happy with the price, especially compared to the local pet stores. I just wish they wouldn't need to be changed so often. Someone needs to come out with a new product that will last longer than a few weeks. But, hey, at least my fish are happy and it prevents me from having to change the water and clean it out so often. So thankful I found a fish tank with easy replacement filters.

Colour reflect in water
Carbon inside keeps falling off. Blue colour emits from filter. Tiny pieces . Pic doesn’t justify what I am trying to explain. Washed it number of times. Still same problem
