PICKLED PLANET Organic Raw Sauerkraut, 16 OZ

Pickle Planet Raw Sauerkraut is out-of-this-world delicious!As a kid I absolutely hated sauerkraut (kind you purchase in a can at the store) I mention this as it tasted nasty and smelled nasty lol. It was just plain gross. However, as a kid, I loved raw cabbage. I would go out in the garden and eat it. Fast forward many decades later.....I know I love raw cabbage but just the word "sauerkraut" scared the hell out of me lol. I started researching fermented foods to help with my gut flora. Pickled Planet came up and I started looking at all the different flavors. I figure I would take the plunge and purchase one over-priced jar of Pickled Planet Great Plain sauerkraut. I figured if I like it, I would purchase from another website which is less then half of what I bought it for. I can now say with certainty, the word Sauerkraut, no longer scares me lol. This Raw Sauerkraut is phenomenal tasting and in three days since I received it, 3/4 of the jar is gone. Also in these three days, my gut has been feeling wonderful and the best its been in several years. I'm not saying its a miracle food but pretty darn close.Go ahead and give Pickled Planet sauerkraut a shot. It sounded really great but the jar broke inside the box and it smelled so horrible I changed my mind.

I never realized how sauerkraut tastes a lot like kimchi minus all spicey flavors. This is the first raw sauerkraut I've ever had and I'm hooked.It has a wonderful crunch, almost like pickles, it's a little salty, a touch of vinegar (not a lot) it's so good!!!! I love kimchi too but I love how this raw sauerkraut tastes so pure without all the extra spices that sometimes get overwhelming when I eat kimchi. It has the same crunch as freshly made kimchi but easier to palette.I've clearly been having bad sauerkraut my whole life, none of it has ever tasted this good before. I highly recommend this brand!

I LOVE sauerkraut (thank my German heritage) I used to enjoy Boar's Head but lately it has been mushy. The German jarred kind are crispier but I read that some pasteurize the jar and destroy the probiotics. I thought I'd give this brand a try and am so glad I did! It is crunchy and flavorful and is made by a company committed to keeping the live ingredients alive...I'm a fan (and willing to pay more for it)

Love the product. It is wrapped in bubble wrap so they do try.But occasionally the seal must get popped and it is not edible.Amazon great about refunding those times. Most times it's fine.

This is really great! A spoonful flavored a pork cutlets.

The lid came loose and leaking and it stunk!Had to throw it away!😩I see this happened someone else!Not cool. I’m out 13.99 and nothing to make the Rubens I had planned for friends. Perhaps they need a different way of canning!Can I get a refund?

The jar leaked out all the liquid. Not sure if it's safe to eat.
