Crystal Art Times 12"x15" in Case of Fire Metal Sign, 12" x 15"

This sign saved my life. There we were grilling 22oz of flesh on the back porch at Bubba's new girlfriends house. Bubba was flipping the carcus while I held his drink. During the transition back, it spilt over the open flame causing a flare up. At that same time, his new big haired girlfriend was walking by and the flames got a hold of her hair. It ran through that hairspray like wildfire. She went to running and screaming like a maniac. She ran under some dead pines on the way to the kiddie pool to dunk herself. She was fine but a spark hit them pines. We all stood there in shock as the fire on them pines started to take hold. I didn't know what to do. I stood frozen in terror, then I looked to my left and a sunbeam was shinning through the clouds illuminating this sign. I read the instructuons "IN CASE OF FIRE....FREAK OUT AND RUN LIKE HELL". Well I started shouting and running for the pickup truck. Bubba was still frozen in place. He yelled back What do I do?.. As I ran I turned and I said Read the sign, not skipping a step (per its instructions) But Bubba ain't a fast reader, so this could have been a problem. But the makers of this sign thought of it all. They engineered a picture to help those with a 1st grade reading level and below. So once Bubba finished sounding out the top line, he looked at that photo and knew just what to do. He made it just in time too, cause his girl was out of the pool and coming after him with a shovel for messing up her hair. He jumped in the truck, which I had started and we took off. We nearly made it to safety when we both remembered those 22oz of pure man fuel still on the grill. Bubba jumped out of the truck while it was still moving and ran the entire 250yds on foot back to the grill to rescue the meat from the flare ups. He got it off and back in the truck, but it was a little burnt on one side. Bubba lost an eye brow, burnt his hand, and got a knot in his head for his now ex girlfriend. But with an awful lot of luck and some solid instructions from this sign, we made it out alive.

A glorious sign indeed this is. I mounted it firmly on 3/4” plywood which the door of my trailer is made of. Excellent choice I must say.

It's actually a different background color that I got, but that's ok it's a sparkly green and it makes it pop amongst the other signs my boyfriend has up.

I love this sign. I got it for my sister for Christmas and she loves it too. Why then you might ask is it only a four star rating? The sign came with some of the paint rubbed or scratched off and I can only assume that it happened during shipping. It wasn't to the point that I would return it but I did feel a little bad that my sister didn't get a pristine sign. Keep that in mind when ordering.

You sometimes don't know what you will get when ordering signs, but this one was a big hit. It looks fantastic, so good in fact I was really surprised how little I paid for it. So if you like the sign, you will be happy with what you get.

The product arrived on time and as specified by seller. I was very pleased.
