After a year, the front wheel fell off whilst I was taking my elderly mum across a busy road, leaving us in a dangerous situation. Took the chair to a local mobility shop who said it wasn't fit for purpose and couldn't repair it as they couldn't get the parts (the frame had buckled slightly too). Contacted the seller who sent replacement wheel bolts. Managed to fix the wheel but it was still wobbly. Tried taking dad out for the first time recently and it looked too unstable so I couldn't use it. Contacted the seller who said it was out of warranty but I could pay for the parts and repair myself. I thought the average lifespan of a wheelchair was around 5 years, seems I was wrong!

Really like this chair for its versatility and ability to fold up so small, but it doesn't really stand up to the 'Heavy Duty' tag. Despite being a fair bit below the maximum weight the chair can allegedly take, this chair still struggled with handling that weight with the front connector of the seat splitting fairly soon after just a few uses. Good customer service from Fenetic Wellbeing who replaced the seat, but the replacement started to go the same way so returned for a full refund

I ordered the HD model, not because I needed the extra weight capacity, but because I think it wil be more durable. So I'm not sure if the regular model is built this well, but I don't really see why someone wouldn't order the HD model for just a few dollars more. It arrived quickly, but apparently the box broke open during shipping and UPS taped it back up. I was really worried about opening it up, but Libby in customer service was wonderful. She was willing to send me a label to return it and ship out a new one, but I decided to open it up and check it out before we went that far. There were no problems with the unit, which is a testament to its durability. One of the axles had popped out, but the wheels/axles are designed to pop out easily for replacement, so it only took about 3 seconds to pop it back in. Libby contacted the manufacturer just to make sure I would be OK in the long run, and they confirmed no problem. It folds up relatively easily--just practice at home a few times before you go out with it. Obviously it is not designed to be a cross-country wheelchair, and I really do not believe it would do well going off pavement. I understood that before I bought it, but seeing it really confirms that. My wife said it feels comfortable without adding a cushion to it, so we will try it that way first. Again, this is designed as a short-term transport chair for ease in traveling. For longer planned use we would use her regular wheelchair. All in all, we are pleased with the purchase, and very confident that if we ever have a problem customer service will be there for us.

Mi madre tiene movilidad reducida puede andar un poco pero necesitaba una silla para poder ir a pasear o desplazamientos cortos, pero era muy importante que pudieramos meter la silla en el maletero de nuestro coche que es un coche normal. Habíamos alquilado otras sillas plegables con el problema de que no cabían en el maletero. Después de buscar encontré esta, es la única que encontré que por las medidas se ajustara a nuestro maletero y el precio era más bajo que otras sillas que no nos cabían. Tengo que decir que todos los comentarios positivos son merecidos, es una silla fácil de plegar y abrir. Los reposa pies son fáciles de quitar y poner. Trae una bolsa para guardar. El único fallo que le encuentro es que el freno es de mano, es decir puede frenar mientras la mueves lo cual es muy útil pero no puedo frenar cuando esta parada o al menos todavía no he descubierto como hacerlo. El precio era más bajo que otras que no nos cabía en el maletero y esta silla cabe perfectamente en el maletero. Es cierto que no es rígida, se hunde un poco pero le llevamos unos cojines para que esté más cómoda. Una excelente compra.

Very sturdy chair with slightly wider seat. Taken on several trips. However getting it back in the bag is nearly impossible!

A "must" for transport chair is the wheels must roll smoothly. The one got had rear wheels that were severely out of alignment, with no adjustment provided. When rolling, the wheels would "scoot" across the floor emitting an ugly sound. When I ask for return approval, I was given a label that required me to pay the return shipping charge of $103. That was cleared up and ultimately I got my money back. The entire transaction was a lot of "heartburn".
