As some have stated it’s tough to unspool. Maybe leave it in the sun to warm it up? That being said it works for over 250 feet.

We live in a rural area, and have a wifi service provider. The antenna on our roof works fine in the late fall through early spring, but once leaves come out, the signal is killed. Needed to find a better spot. We have several areas on our property that are potential candidates for a dish mount, but I needed to try each spot before making a permanent mount. I ran this cable from poe injector in the house, out to the dish. Thought he dish is only about 200 foot away, I'm using the full length of cable (excess is coiled in the house). It powers our Ubiquity dish just fine, and works wonderfully. It's currently just lying on the surface of the ground, but once the best reception spot is decided, we'll put it in conduit and trench/bury from the house to the permanent dish mast.

I ran this wire 300 feet from one house to another... and it works great. I had to buy a splitter router to divide my internet connection, one lead goes to a wireless router and the other lead goes to this 300 ft stretch of wire (another wireless router is attached to that end). So now my property has two wireless connections covering a huge area.Note: It's only been installed for a few months now, so I can't testify that it will last forever. But it seems like it will.A few tips:- cover the ends in masking tape while working with the wire, this will keep them clean and safe until you're ready to plug in.- Make sure to unwrap this wire in an organized way. Unroll it the same way it was rolled for packaging otherwise you'll get kinks.

I've purchased this type of cable before from Ultra Spec & the cable itself was stamped "Waterproof & Direct Burial". This last order (2 - 300 foot cables) had no such labeling on the product (the bag it came in was labeled "Waterproof & Direct Burial"). The cable was not as robust as the prior order (meaning it was more flexible & smaller diameter).I ended up assuming I got the correct product but time will tell & I wouldn't be wondering if it was clearly labeled on the product.

We are really happy with this cable. We have a cottage 200 ft from the house and we were having trouble with people's Ipads not picking up signal on the main house wireless, though for some reason the PC laptops were fine!We tried the NetGear Powerline which did not work very well. So we have now trenched in this cable under the driveway, we did use conduit because that way if they change the technology we won't have to go to major exertions to change the cable. Also ran a string through the conduit in case we need to pull another line for cable one day!Transmission of signal is perfect.

I thought it would be gel-filled as well, but it is not. In fairness, they did not say that in the description and it isn't gel-filled in reality. Installed and working OK. Would have given 5 stars if gel filled.

We needed to add cable from our main router to our guest house 250' away. We spent about $45 on a router for the guest house and added this Cat5e outdoor cable. The internet connection is flawless and in a rural area. Highly recommended!

I bought 300 feet of this so that I could run wifi to my shop. It worked perfectly. It was also very close to the power supply for my building. It actually ran through my service panel. Three was no interference.

It works. If your looking for something that is heavy duty and will withstand the elements this is it. It's still flexible enough to maneuver, though. We used it for a router hookup 400 ft away and our internet did not lose any speed..

Turns out it's way longer than I needed to run internet to my shop and is working like it should so far
