I bought this same dryer over 30 years ago. The new version is the same—made of metal, strong 4 HP motor, long hose. The first one was obviously durable and performed well for over three decades. The new one is operating great and will hopefully last as long as the first one. I highly recommend this dryer.

This is a replacement of the exact same model I bought 20+ years ago....it is virtually the same and even the parts are interchangeable. Sturdy, well built, and really sucks! (LOL). I have double coated alaskan malamutes and this dryer works great on their thick coats. The older one is still in good condition (bought a new one because the outside was finally rusting!) and I haven't changed the brushes or filter in 20 years (have 11 malamutes). It got a work out and is still going strong. I bought a replacement hose and will finally replace the brushes and filter on the old one and figure it'll last another 20 years. This thing is a battleship! Amazing to find a product so well built, and NOT made cheaper . After 20+ years it's still the same product and just as well made as the original. No heat, but after the motor warms it emits a gentle warmth after awhile, perfect for drying a double coat. The new attachments are a plus (orig. only came with a concentrator) so I'm looking forward to giving them a try - especially the fan attachment. Runs on a regular 20 amp 110 circuit too so a 220 isn't needed. Highly recommend if you need a moderate priced, high velocity dog dryer!

I purchased this to dry my Persian cat since the standard hair dryer takes about a 1/2 hr to dry , This unit on 2hp is enough to dry her long hair in about 10-12 min , keeping it about a foot away from her . The motor is a little scary to the animal , I wouldn't dare put it on 4 HP . I would recommend a longer hose for this application so the motor is distant and not so disturbing to your pet but the end result it moves water and she is nice and fluffy but do go with caution , It is powerful on 2 hp alone . I also used it for a second application to remove water after I wash my car and before detailing . Since I do not want to use cloths anymore this seems like the perfect application . It removes water in and around moldings and mirrors so it will not interfere with your compounding or waxing , very light , easy to walk around the car with . I used only the standard nozzle that was attached to the hose .

We have 3 Bernese Mountain Dogs, and live in the humid South, so getting my dogs completely dry is vital in preventing hot-spots. When I tried this out at a local doggy-wash, I knew I needed one for myself! Pros: - Powerful - I can SEE the water mist flying off the dog - It dries the base of the skin, helping prevent the hot spots my dogs are prone to getting - My dogs look well groomed and beautifully fluffy - When used on my dry dog, it helps blow the dead undercoat out - Can start with a low power, which helped in getting my dogs used to it before moving to the hi-power - The air stays quite cool, so my dogs don't get overheated when being dried Cons: - Powerful enough that you don't want to use inside. Think leaf-blower indoors, lol! I end up with misty water and dog hair everywhere (although with large fluffy dogs, I'm fairly used to it, lol!). - don't really know how to use the tools it came with - I wish there had been suggestions in the box - Pricey ... its worth it to me, but any time I recommend it, people get a bit of sticker shock. Overall, I love this dryer, and highly recommend it. It is pricey, but not unreasonable compared to other blowers of this caliber!

this is a great dryer. i have a 7 month old golden retriever and i give him regular baths. since goldens are prone to hot spots i didn't want to contribute to a possible problem by further irritating his skin with hot air so i was really excited at the fact that the dryer blows cool air - it is more the force of the air that actually dries the dog. the air does warm up but it is hardly at all and it has not caused any skin irritations on my pup at all. the only con to the dryer is the noise level - and it is much louder than a regular hair dryer despite what other reviews say and it has taken my pup some time to get used it, but it drys his hair in 20-25 minutes realistically and if he would settle down a little more during the process i am sure it would take about 10-15 minutes. hope this helped you out!

Does not work very well on thick Goldendoodle fur which is very thick, dense and curly. I'm pretty sure it would work well on a regular dog's coat

大型犬を飼っている上、犬種がプードルなので、通常のドラヤーではとんでもなく時間がかかっていました。また、乾きが悪いと皮膚病の原因にもなります。いろいろ悩んでいたら、この製品を友人から勧められました。 凄い風圧で、乾かすというよりは水を切るという形容が相応しいです。 洗い上げて、スーパードライタオルで拭いた犬をこのドライヤーで乾かすと、時間も短くすみ、また、毛並みもふんわり仕上がります。 性能としては申し分ないのですが、稼働時の音が大きいので戸建の住宅でないとご近所迷惑かもしれません。また、風圧が強いので小型犬には向かないと思います。

うーん風が強くて、ぬるい乾かなかった。 毛が飛び散るって部屋が散々な目になって、掃除がめっちゃ大変でした。 一般家庭でも使いやすいものをふたたび探します。
