Led light is bright white with no purple. Perfect for wine cabinet. Sticking anything to bare wood is almost impossible, needless to say the led fell down after about 10 minutes. I found a double backed tape made by Fastcap called Speed tape. I purchased the 1 inch and re-stuck the led to the tape using a rolling pin to press down hard. I was able to line up three wide on the tape and used a razorblade to cut to size. Pulled backing off tape and re applied back in wine cabinet , very impressed !!!!!! Time will tell, will update in a couple of weeks.

This light strip is daylight white and extremely bright. I tested the full strand with an ampmeter and it consumes 2.04 amps from a 12.4 volt power source. If you want to power the full strand from one power source you should make sure that your 12 volt power source is rated at 2.5 amps (30 watts) minimum.

These are not Cool white. My strips are Warm White. The construction is what I expect for the strips but I'll have to re-order to get what I need.

Not recommended. Too dim, get way too hot and many failed leds. Turned yellow from heat and not as bright as implied. Suspicious of their claims.

Started installing four of these in my garage. Perfect run length for a standard 20x20 garage. I'm spacing each run at four feet and so far the lights are prividing excellent coverage.They are a cool color I wish they were a bit warmer but I'm fne with them.

Not a lot of out put but great for accent lighting.

These led's are very impressive. I srripped the eubber and cut the strip up to make an arc reactor for my sons iron man costume.

These cool white LEDs are in fact BLUE relative to cool white LEDs from other manufacturers.
