Great Purple Hue
I bought a couple 80 W black lights which worked really well on the front porch. But for one area above the porch, I needed a bit more Watts so this 100 W was perfect to cover that area. The purple is a rich purple, the same purple shown on the front of the item. Very happy with it. Its sturdy and the stand is movable so you can adjust it as needed plus it has a hole and a couple of openings so you can put a screw in it as needed to hold the light down or makes it easy to hang it anywhere you need. I would definitely buy this again.

Works Great! Charges glow in the dark paint wonderfully
Only complaint I could think of is it does get a little bit hot.

Very Bright
This light is very bright indeed. Having said that, the wavelength of the UV LEDs is higher than I wanted. There is a lot of visible light that comes from this fixture and for my needs I want less visible light but still a very strong UV light. My search continues...

Bright! Finally one that really shines
I had a smaller unit that used less power, but didn’t throw out as much light. I use this for a Halloween lawn decoration and it is perfect. It throws out so much light which is really necessary for outdoor scenes for Halloween.

100W as claimed (rare). Very bright, high quality, even a switch
This is not something I thought I would ever say about a light I purchased online (for some reason the watts/lumens are always WAY overrated), but this light ACTUALLY puts out (or at least uses) the watts claimed - about 101-104 watts based on my readings, and they claim it is a 100W light. Some other lights I have purchased claimed 200 watts, yet the power supply inside was only 60-70 watts(!) These are legitimate and quite bright. My eyes think they are looking at the sun at close range, even though the UV light doesn't look that bright, of course.

So bright there must be more than UV
I actually bought 4, for an art project. Bright as hell, but if it were dominantly UV, you would not see my walls and shades as much in the photo. Granted, it appears one of my shades was treated with optical bleach, but the rest is lit up a whole lot more than would be with a UV flourescent tube. I am just learning about this; it may be that the UV light is so strong that even neighboring light frequencies are emitted to a disappointing degree. It’s one of those unfortunate endorsements that goes, “It depends on what you’re using it for.” If you were to use it in a display, make sure the UV is reflected off the day-glow objects without direct viewer exposure to the light source (like in the photo), because it is distractingly bright. It’s not going to fry your retinas unless you stare at it for a long time. Even though the UV is outside the strictest guidelines for viral and bacterial eradication, after 15 minutes or so, it may offer some protection (222nm @ 10 seconds recommended by the CDC for viral control).

Bright Beams🍭
This black light is made of metal and glass so naturally it's kind of heavy. The power cord is 42" long not including the wall/outlet plug and has an on/off switch on the cord. The metal frame adds about 5cm to the measurements in the description. I noticed that the metal back gets pretty hot while it's in use so I'd suggest mounting it on metal and keeping it clear of fabric and other flammable materials just in case. It's a heave duty blacklight for sure and its super bright. I'm going to have alot of fun with this lol, hope this was helpful 😊
