My Favorite Felt Sweets Paperback – June 2, 2008

Patterns are easy to follow. Book arrived today and I've already finished making a dessert.

If you enjoy creating felt food this is the book for you. It has wonderful pictures and great instructions. I wish more of the patterns were life size. This is easily fixed by using a copying machine and enlarging the patterns. I have made several of the items in the book. It was fun and easy. My six year old loves the donuts I made for her and can not wait for me to make some.

Got this for making treats for ‘tea time’.Easy to sew by hand, cute when completed. Kids have great time playing restaurant

This book has some of the cutest, most delicious looking felt goodies, it's just amazing! I have a blast just looking through the pages! I haven't made any of them yet, but am looking forward to "baking" some of them for my little ones. The patterns are included and seem fairly simple to work with. They'll make for a legitimately awesome pretend tea party!

Go and buy a bunch of felt because there is a LOT to do in this book! I would get this before I got the Alex Toys Felt foods. There are so many more things to do with your kids! There are LOADS of patterns! You do have to have a knowledge of basic stitches, but other than that it is wonderful!! I do wish they would see this as a kit though, so you don't have to go out and find the felt colors for all of these foods. If you kids are interested in play food than I would DEFINITELy get this book! I purchased the Alex ones and then this book and I would get this one 100 times over the Alex ones! Much more to do and much more realistic looking!

This is a great book! I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners thought. You have to know most of the basics before you can tackle the patterns in here

Some of the projects in this book are cute some are just interesting. Directions aren't really the best.

For all felt lovers this book is great. It has a lot of ideas and comes with all the patterns. I am very happy with the purchase and made already couple items. A must have!!!!! Anette

Très beau livre présentant des créations originales en feutrine dans l'univers de la pâtisserie.Pour ma fille, c'est le paradis de la dinette : entre les entremets, les viennoiseries, les pralinés et les petits fours etc... il y a de quoi rêver et jouer.Les explications sont claires et compréhensibles (à condition bien sûr de maîtriser l'anglais pour cette édition).

Questo libro contiene la traduzione in inglese di varie opere giapponesi fatte con il feltro. E' di modeste dimensioni se si pensa che ha solo 96 pagine ma può soddisfare pienamente l'interesse del lettore. Le prime 32 contengono le foto di tanti lavori il cui tema è sempre il mondo dei dolci. Abbiamo torte di tutti i tipi, con panna, fragole, pezzetti di kiwi e di tante altre fantasie. Abbiamo i macaroons, i biscotti, dolcini natalizi e tanto altro. Il bello sono le pagine che seguono. Possiamo trovare gli schemi per tutti i lavori presentati e non è facile che si realizzi una cosa del genere. In casa, ho molti libri dedicati a questo hobby ma solo una ristrettissima cerchia presenta queste caratteristiche. L'unico neo è che tutti i cartamodelli hanno spiegazioni alquanto basic ma niente che un pizzico di riflessione personale non possa risolvere in breve tempo. Un libro da non perdere!!!!

...makes you hungry =)All those cute little cakes look so great and realistic. It was so much fun to sew them and the instruction was very easy to follow even for me as german! They made great gifts for a birthday party for example or you can use them as cute decoration. All in all it is a wonderful and inspiring book and the results are just adorable AND free of calories ;-)

Dieses Buch zeigt viele tolle Kuchen und Törtchen zum Nachnähen! Die Stücke sind alle recht aufwendig, aber das Endprodukt ist es auf jeden Fall wert!
