TINY leg openings.
My son is 2 years old, about 33 lbs, 36 in tall. he's comfortable in 2t for most brands, but wears 3t in those that run a little small. reading reviews, I figured 3T would definitely be required to get over his chunka-chunka legs. NOOOOOOPE! Could not get the sides to snap at all. for reference, snap cloth diapers (non-swim diapers) fit just fine and certainly don't need the largest setting. but if your child has all but the thinnest of legs, order up in size from the largest size your child regularly fits. I re-ordered a 4T, and it's snug, but works.Once you get a size that actually fits, the diaper appears to work well, but has yet to be challenged by a "full load."

You have to get the perfect fit in order to use these
While these are the most well known/common swim diaper brand, I was not impressed with the design. There are 3 snaps on one side so you can't really adjust the size of the diaper. I know most babies could benefit from some personalized adjustment as they all come in such different size/shapes. The design was cute and as pictured but I returned this in favor of a different brand with many more snaps for custom sizing.

Run very small go a size or two up
I got the 4T for my 23 month, 25lb son who is tall and lanky. He usually wears 18 month size pants. They perfectly on him. The legs were snug enough to prevent anything from getting out, but not too tight. I would definitely recommend going at least a size or two bigger than what the age says. The diaper was well made and I like the little bit of padding in there that a lot of the other reusable swim diapers lack, but that does cause them to take longer to dry. They also only have the three buttons on one side so they aren't adjustable once your kid grows.

True to clothing size if your baby isn't chunky
I was super nervous about sizing on these as a lot of reviewers said they run super small, but I decided I had time so I just ordered his clothing size and they fit!My 13 month old son is just getting into 24 month clothes (can still wear 18 months in some things), so I ordered 2 24 month swim diapers (to swap out in case he poops in one). It fit just fine. They are a little clingy with the elastic, but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be that way to keep any accidents in. I've pulled the elastic out and it's got a lot of give.I can definitely see if your baby has chunky thighs that you would need to size up! My little man is extremely long and skinny/muscular...barely any extra fat (he's in the top percentile for height and 47th for weight, so Dr said he's technically underweight because he's so tall).

who the hell sizes these things....
we bought a 24 month size for our 6 month old and it has fit for about 2 months and I'm already shopping for another one because these are cutting his circulation off. like idk why they make the leg holes so tight but I'm sure I'm not the only one with a baby who has chunky thighs. this brand is awful for this and I'm going to go with a different one. it's made well I guess but that doesn't matter if you can't use it for long.

they work great. They hold in moisture and smells
Be warned: These are extremely small. Ordered a size 6 month for an average-sized 4 month old, and we couldn't even get them on him. Exchanged for a 12 month size, and they were still very tight. As for the quality, they work great. They hold in moisture and smells, and are great for swimming. I recommend getting one much bigger than you think you need.

Sizing runs very small
These swim diapers are great, except for the sizing. I purchased the size 9-12 months (blue swim diaper in pic) for my then 8 month old, who is 10 months now and they are extremly tight on him. He is small for his age and was 19lbs at 9 months old. I just purchased the 18 month size (green) and they are barley bigger than the 9-12 month size. Having to purchase a new pair every two months is ridiculous and I'm only doing so for my son's water babies class. The sizing runs very small.

Swim class - must have!
I didn't know what to expect, but this was fabulous! My boys (1 and 2 years old) are in swim class and I felt bad about environmentally using so many swim diapers. The cost was an issue too! These hold up BETTER and I wasn't even expecting it. Swim diapers I feel like if your kiddo pees on the way to the pool it just comes out. These actually hold in the pee and we are able to get dressed and ready at home before heading to swim class without having to worry about getting pee all in the carseat. Life saver for this momma. They wash wonderfully too!

Good alternative to disposable swim nappies
We used to use disposable swim nappies for my son, but I decided to reduce the waste and save some money and bought this reusable nappy before our holiday in Australia earlier this year. I'm so glad I did as it saved us a lot of money - my son was in the water at least twice every day. It's easy to put on and remove, washes well, takes a bit of time to dry due to it being quite thick, but that's not really an issue. It also seems to be absorbing the wee quite well, can't say if it would stop number 2 from leaking out as we have not had any "accidents" whilst using it.

Quality item. Maybe on the small size?
Beautiful, bright design that washes well and saves money on disposable swim nappies and as such more environmentally friendly in my opinion. My little guy turned 2 but he is big for his age so the 2-3 is big enough for now but its a tight fit around the tops of his legs but I suppose that's the point. I think he will be too big for it in a few months but i'm hoping that he will not need it by then if potty training goes well.......fingers crossed. I use the nappy in conjunction with splash about swim jammer shorts just because that's a requirement of the swim school but I guess you could use the nappy in isolation.

Great
Comfortable and easy to use. Pop in washing machine to clean. That being said, my son has never had an accident in them.
