My Wife put it in the Kitchen and it looks great. Very pleased with the clock.

This is made out of wood and it’s just beautiful. It’s not like some of the other clocks that you buy that have a paper background. It’s just so gorgeous.

Granted I'm a senior...but the hands are slender...and get lost in the lovely artwork. Couldn't see from across room.

Just before this, I'd had a dollar store-ish type clock that was very similar, for YEARS, bought for $15, around the millenium. It was essentially a paper print (meant to look rustic/aged) on top of a wood piece as a hanging frame (a circle), with a standard little Taiwanese plastic clock in the back, that ran THIN metal hands (minute, hour AND second) around the dial. It ran for over a decade, and kindof looked only BETTER, over the years. It died, just last year (hands slowed, constantly)- and I looked for similar, to replace it. I saw this, here and ordered it- love it, so far. It's basically an exact representation of what I described, down to every detail (which is why I detailed the previous item, sorry). The mounting piece worked great and easy, for me- and it looks (even from just a few feet away) like an older, antique-ish clock. Though I've only had it a couple of months, the hands and time are working PERFECT and I hope to get over a decade out of it, like the last. If you want a simple clock that looks older than all of us- a great buy, imho :)

It is not separate pieces of wood put together to make the clock. It is an image of the pieces of wood. So its completely flat on the front. It tells time great and you can read it well from far away, which our other you couldn't.

We ordered this clock for our main bath. We were concerned that that vinyl art on the face would eventually let go from the high humidity in a bathroom. We were quite to surprised to find that it is as solid as the day we hung it on the wall. Month after month it looks and functions as great as the day we received it. We love the style, the size of the numbers and the colors were perfect for our new paint. And it is completely silent. Very nice!
