Good design tool but very poor manufacturing
The manufacturing of this tool is very poor. I had to rework this tool to get it to perform properly.The rivets holding the arms are too loose and the tool is very floppy. The two curved up lips in the middle of the tool for holding the ring to expand it, are not properly formed and causes the rings to slip off very easily. The metal edges are very sharp and may damage the rings or pistons.I sanded all the edges of the entire tool and formed the lips to hold the ring while it expanded. I also made some small bends in the arms to decrease the floppiness. It worked much better after the rework.

i wound up borrowing a better set.
wasnt the easiet to use on a set of kohler rings. i wound up borrowing a better set.
