Sterlingcraft Oblong Serving Tray

I am very pleased with this tray. The picture makes it look sturdier and thicker than it actually is. When I first saw it I was disappointed because it looked so thin. However, I have used it several times and it holds enough weight to make it very useful. It has a shiny surface which is very nice looking. It's not your grandmother's sterling silver serving platter but it will do the job and looks great.

Really awesome platter! Very pretty but also one of those things you don't have to feel bad about if it gets lost or left at a friends house. It is somewhat thin but what do you think for such a great price! Overall great item at an awesome price and exactly what I expected!

As many have said this product is flimsy. But consider how cheap it is. For the cost it's very functional. Cost wise it's equal to plastic or paper plates - but it looks much prettier than those products. It was in perfect condition after one use, and I will use it again to gussy up a party. It's great for a fruit/cheese tray, crackers/cheese, cookies, tea sandwiches, small light items that you want to enhance with a little flair. It's pretty and budget friendly.

This tray is very , very thin material… it almost looks like aluminum foil. I will use them as serving trays for light weight foods… I’d never trust them to serve beverages or anything with any weight. My mistake was to buy two of them. Junk!

I'm echoing the comments made by previous reviewers. This is a nice looking serving tray at first impression, though as others have said it is a little smaller than the measurements would suggest, and it is very light-weight and so you can't really carry anything too heavy with it. The handles are cut out quite sharp and I imagine would be quite uncomfortable if you needed to grip tightly onto them. However as a serving tray for light things like canapés or sandwiches it works OK. My biggest disappointment with it was that on both occasions that I used it, a little of the food had touched the tray though the paper doily (a little mayonnaise based sauce, and some preserves) and where it made contact, the tray is now discolored in those areas, so not so pretty. If you're aware of some of the concerns before you buy it should work but it's obviously not designed for heavy use or longevity, and is priced accordingly, It worked for what I needed it for and for the price paid, was not a bad little platter really.

A great value and good quality serving tray for the price. i was looking for a disposable plastic serving tray and this came up in the search alongside those cheapish trays you find at party city or similar stores. This one is very elegant and classy looking and the handles on the side really make a nice touch. I'm using it to present mini dessert shot glasses at a fundraiser event, but I kinda want to keep the tray for myself. I might purchase another one to keep at home.

I was disappointed in this tray while it is a pretty tray, it is lightweight and small. Can’t really serve very much on it.

I bought this as part of a gift for my mother. She loved the tray to serve tea and coffee. It was a bargain and built well for the price.
