Very disappointed with this dye, I am a pro home hair dye user have been dying my hair for years, I usually rate this brand but sadly not this time, I wanted something a little different I was tempted by the colour, after trying it well it sent my hair more brassy black not dark brown/red, I had to wash my hair every day to get the black to fade, this took 2 weeks!! Then after doing that the colour did go to a nice medium brown with nice red hints in the light but that lasted for just over a week then I could not notice any of the dye left! Very poor, the conditioner is stupid your supposed to dye your hair, rinse like made, go dry your hair, add the conditioner leave for a few mins then go rinse like mad some more waaaay to time consuming I added to my hair wet and still got soft hair which is what the one star is for other than that I would not bother, I had a good colour for this dye to take to, I have since done a different dye with the same brand but another shade (purple) and has worked MUCH better.

Overall very pleased with this hair dye Schwarzkopf LIVE Color XXL 896 modnight red 'The colour didn't mark pillows during the night like some brands which is good.Originally it came out darker, almost black but after 3-4 washes was the colour I desired (same as on the box) which I was very pleased with & relieved as I didn't like the initial black colour.It does fade but gradually after the initial first few washes. Lasted quite a few weeks (about 8-10) but now feel I need to do another colour.I'd definitely use this hair dye again. Very easy to apply with simple instructions.Definitely recommended '

Ive always used live color, but was getting abit bored of my normal colour so chose this one. Now, the color on the dark brown part of my hair is a lovely dark brown/red BUT. My hair line is slightly plum lmao( prolly becoz im abit blonde around the hair line.)
