No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy Paperback – June 1, 2010

While I have heard of Dan Kennedy for years, I am pretty new to reading his material. I wish I'd read his stuff earlier, I like him and I like his message. His book "No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy" is a good lesson on how to think, how to look at things, and a good encouraging kick in the seat of the pants to look for the wealth and money that is out there. According to Kennedy, it doesn't matter what the economic conditions are, booms or recessions, including what he calls our "new economy," there is wealth out there, and all you need to do is figure out how to lure, bait, attract, and become a magnet for it. While it might not be as simple as some would lead you to believe, I think Kennedy is right, and the first step toward attracting that wealth is your mindset and how you look at wealth attraction in the first place. And that is where this book comes in. It is a good guide on how to think about money, how to think about attracting it, and starting point toward acting on those thoughts and actually attracting more wealth than you have before. And that is a key, and Kennedy will be the first to tell you. You must ACT, and if you ACT right, you can achieve what others have achieved through similar ACTIONS.Some of the things Kennedy wants you to think about, or how he wants you to think, are not having guilt over making money, or having money. You must have an unequivocal belief in abundance and break free of the notion of "fairness." You must accept the responsibility for yourself and have no fear or excuses as you pursue money and become someone. You must do something! Remember, action is what it is all about.The author also covers things such as following up, integrity, asking, passion, and what I think is a very important concept, seeing what isn't there. He also has a short chapter on thinking value, not time. He covers this concept in much more depth in his "No BS" book on time management. And yes, he plugs this book and other resources in this volume. That is a lesson too. Kennedy has made a lot of money, and helps many with marketing. Wouldn't you expect him to be marketing himself too? I don't mind this, because I believe the book provides value in how you can think and act to attract wealth, and his other resources can help you with the acting.There are two case studies in the back of the book that I found very interesting. One small university and one barbershop that went above and beyond what others were doing and created wealth in their fields. There are also some additional resources listed in the back.I think this book is motivating, and contains some practical ways at looking at money and wealth that if followed will undoubtedly help people attract more wealth and achieve greater thing. Dan is the man and he knows how to teach the how to of wealth attraction!This book is made up of sections, or "Wealth Magnets" which will help you understand how to attract wealth.Each one of the wealth magnets can be taken and held up to your individual business as you ask yourself, "How can I add to my business with this Wealth Magnet?" If you want a book on attracting wealth without action though, this book will not give you relief from the notion that you have to take action.Another word of caution, Dan assumes that you are in the business that is suited for you. He assumes that you are doing the work that you enjoy and that you want to build your business. If you are searching for your life's calling, this book won't help. If you are looking to monetize your life's calling this book could be the missing link.I enjoyed the stories of successful people and how they use the wealth magnets in their business. Many of the stories are taken from people Dan has worked with over the many years in business. This is not an emotional book, but it is full of practical ways to create the energy that your business needs.A few of the Wealth Magnets include: "Be Somebody" and "Do Something." This book is worth reading again and again, but remember there is no success in just reading a book. You must decide to "Do Something!"I recommend it, especially to business owners.

I own the previous edition of Dan Kennedy's wealth attraction book, and it is one of the most well thumbed books in my collection. If you grew up in a household with negative attitudes towards money or negative attitudes towards the people who have money, then this book will fill in the gaps of your money education, challenge your old beliefs, and prepare you to have a positive relationship with money and to build a new future based on abundance and wealth.I purchased this new book to see what fresh thoughts Dan may have had about wealth attraction in the new economy. While this book is every bit as excellent as the old book, you should be aware that it's also nearly identical. Almost every chapter is the same, and I was unable to identify any changes he made to the core text. There are a few new sections, but none that I found so earth shattering that it would be worth upgrading to this edition if you have the old one. Most of the new sections were written by other authors.Overall if you haven't read any edition of Dan Kennedy's wealth attraction book, I urge you to pick up this book right now. I can't tell you how much this book changed my relationship with money in ways that translated into real results. Years after reading, my politics have changed, my business structure has changed, and my bank balance has definitely changed for the better. However, if you already have an old edition, I wouldn't feel any real urgency to upgrade to this new edition. Your old edition still has all of the magic of this new one.

an easy read, if familiar in its ideas to his other books like renegade millionaire or even other success literature . some of the material can feel very samey to his other books and stories but repetition in different forms is part of the charm and helps cement the messages.he'll cover a principle like speed of execution or giving and then bring it to life with stories from his own life and others, usually from the marketing worlds he's been part of.his own personal insights were refreshing as not all success authors actually live the principles and its clear he does with his long distinguished career and track record of being a go to source of expertise for many entrepreneurs.the stack of i successful people who credit him as being influential to them is worth taking note of in itself, as someone worthy of studying.you'll either like his style or not, if not you can find similar ideas and principles in other books because they are timeless.you'll probably recognize the self image, subconscious and giving principles to name a few but Dan will give his own personal spin distilled from hard won and lived wisdom of using, researching them and observing them in his career so ultimately it can be a refreshing take on some of the samey feeling material to be found in success literature.
