It's very sharp and sturdy, and not too heavy, so I love it. However, it looks the same on all sides, which means that if you hold it the wrong way and accidentally push the button in the other direction, you will cut yourself very bad. I wish the orientation of the blade was made clearer. Every time I use it, I have to pay attention that I'm holding it right.

Some people just feel better with a box cutter (retractable utility knife) made of metal in their hand. Gives you something substantial to hold on to and helps apply pressure to the blade to make cutting easier. This design has probably been around for 40-50 years and still has its fans.It's well made, fits the hand well, and comes with a really sharp blade. Mine worked perfectly out of the box and I would expect that it will be in my "miscellaneous drawer" for several years. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is exactly what I wanted. I don't know what it is, but finding a standard metal utility knife that has that good weight in your hand and doesn't have the blade automatically retract is weirdly difficult. This looked just like the last one I had so I crossed my fingers buying it, and it's perfect. I might buy another in case I lose this one.

After opening the package, and a few uses to cut up some boxes for recycle, I like the heft of this knife. It handles well. Best I can tell, it is sturdy and well made. I wanted to find a box cutter style knife that was dark in color, and while shopping I thought this was the best choice. After receiving the product, I am quite happy with it. I do find the finish on the knife to be a little on the slick side, at least for now when, it is new. If I had designed this, I believe I would have added some knurling, crosshatching, or rubbery layers or the handle sides. However I also suspect that with a little use the finish will offer a better grip.

Good quality, easy to use and sharp. What more can you ask for? Has 3 different options for the blade and easy to go back and forth between them. Just what I was looking for.

I lost my other matt knife and after looking at a million fancy new items I found the original that I wanted. It is the best! Easy to hold easy to operate, sturdy, sharp blades and a very good price. Stick with this one, you'll be happy!
