I bought this for my Canon Powershot SX70 2 years ago and it worked excellent the first time I put it on. It turns pretty nicely and feels ok in terms of build quality. It did not give me any vignetting at all. Another thing is that you can turn the lens hood backwards if you wanted to and it doesn't interfere with any of the lens' zooming or any other functions.In the past few months it has been clicking weird and is never stable in its place, it's worn down basically. I would buy this again or recommend it to a friend, but I really wish it would just last for longer so I wouldn't have to replace it so soon.

I wondered about the lens cover fitting, that fits perfect inside this hood. Great price

High Quality working as designed

It works 100% with my Canon SX70 and is easy to fit and remove. It can be fitted in reverse for storage. The quality of this product is very good and it is very good value for money.

PROS: (1) This lens hood fits my Canon SX60 just fine and (2) it costs a lot less than the equivalent Canon lens hood. Also, (3) It effectively does a lens hood's main job: protecting the lens from non-image-forming light.CON: I equip every camera I own with a lens hood in order to provide a degree of protection to the lens of the camera. From this standpoint, I have assigned this hood a 3-star rating because it is thin plastic and offers insufficient strength & rigidity to afford any significant degree of lens protection. Also, its long term durability is uncertain because the plastic that comprises its bayonet fitting (for attachment to the camera) is fragile.NOTE: The Canon SX60 has a non-interchangeable zoom lens (21mm - 1,365mm 35mm equivalent). The wide angle setting (21mm) will vignette (have corner shadows) if a solid lens hood is used, so the lens hood for the Canon SX60 is petal-shaped. This petal-shaped hood should be installed on the SX60 so that the larger peaks are at the top and bottom of the lens, and the smaller peaks are at the sides of the lens.
