Lilse Plastic Fastener Puller *Review*
Lisle 35260 Plastic Fastener RemoverThis fastener puller has come in handy so many times since I purchased it has more than paid for itself in the lack of effort needed.Using this thing requires some thought but only because each item I pull is a bit different. I am fairly certain others have noted the ends are a bit thick so getting it under plastic clips is a bit of a challenge. That said, I used plastic pry tools before and they were nowhere near as effective. This tool has a nice plastic handle which is sized so it can be gripped to apply force. It has a small bend which allows for leverage and there is a small rubber ring which you can move that allows for a variety of fulcrum points.I recommend this if you do any car work. Everything has a million clips now and without this tool you will probably be so frustrated and definitely will need to purchase new clips because they are easily destroyed. It also works on other things but be aware of metal to any sufarce can cause sratches. Put something like a cloth behind it if you are on a painted or plastic surface.Believe me. I have all the best reviews. All opinions are my own and I am Ben. Lisle Plastic Clip remover tool
Given all the wonderful plastic parts on your car nowadays you need one or more of these. This a tool that works really well in removing those plastic clips that hold your bumper cover together, you plastic panels together, all those platisc pieces above and around your radiator...etc and all over the cars at present time. The BIG plus is that this tool does not damage the clip and does not deform it in any way. Absolutely a good design...for example on a Honda civic the clips are approx $3.00 each and you have a number of these things to remove to get at your headlight bulbs and or to remove the front bumper cover and other items. Good investment...I bought two.

A must have in every automotive tool box.
I've flat out refused to buy this, or similar, tools and I don't know why. I trust Lisle plus it came with the sliding leverage button. I was going to get the the one that looked more like an actual pry bar but after some research this seemed to be the best design for my use. It works and it looks well made although it is made overseas, what a shame. I looked at a lot of sets with many tools too, some cheaper and some more expensive, that all looked to do the same exact thing. As this is not my daily 9-5, this tool will help me in both interior and exterior of vehicle and in less that 24 hours I've used it in both and it has proven to be a tremendous tool. The handle is a good size and I was able to get a good grip on it and if you have larger hands, I don't see grip ever being an issue. I wouldn't trust this on a heavy job but it does offer some versatility for light jobs.

Works as it should.
This works on those funny plastic connectors that holds light weight car panels together usually found in wheel wells. This tool popped the connectors our nicely and reused them again.

Buy this before you remove that door panel!
This may seem like over kill and too much of a specialty tool to be worth buying . . . I was SO glad that I pick one of these up. I have torn too many door panels by trying to 'muscle' those plastic tabs that hold everything on. This made quick, clean work of it and saved my family and the neighborhood from having to hear me swear during the job. The black sliding thing saves the paint and when I was done (replacing a side mirror, $$, yuck!) no one could tell the door panel had ever been removed. The tool is very well made, no surprise, and typical of my experience with Lisle Tools. Good steel, smooth and chromed. This item will not bend on you. I have owned some tools that you can bend bare handed; not worth your time or frustration. The handle is comfortable with no mis-matched joining seams (too common in cheap tools).

Windshield washer nozzle replacement
I purchased this tool along with these fasteners https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AW62VCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to replace my windshield washer nozzle on my truck. In order to get access to the nozzle in my truck hood, I had to partially remove the insulation layer under the hood. The insulation layer is held in place with the above plastic clips. This tool removed the clips with ease. Just slide the "V" tip of the tool under the plastic retaining clips and rock upward. The clips popped right out with very little effort. That allowed access to the nozzle. This tool worked perfectly. I have tried to pull those clips before with pliers and a screwdriver. That is difficult and just mangled the clip. This tool is a far superior option. I do not anticipate using this tool often, so I suspect it will last many years.
